Unexpected fish hunting day with wife .

The highlight of today: "Oyen defeats the kicking girl and totally can't move after losing to her". If you don't know, Oyen is one of the most common unknown cats that is sometimes used in this country. Maybe not all, but most people know that the name Oyen is always used for the cat, especially the orange unknown cat.

I found this stray cat sleeping beside the pathway. He looked very tired and didn't care about the people who walked beside him. My wife was just laughing at him when I was taking his photo. He really didn't realize, even when I did the close-up shot with him.

MORNING QUEST WITH WIFE

We didn't actually plan to walk this morning; the only mission we had was to find the cheapest money changer to change some money into another currency. We went to Wisma Merdeka and walked around the ground floor three times just to find the cheapest rate, but the rate ended up being almost the same with other money changers. The funny thing was that the shopping mall was just opening, and there were almost no people walking around because the shop was just opening.

After walking for around 30 minutes, I realise that our food stock is almost empty. Ermm, I think our refrigerator is already empty. LOLZ, so I suggest buying some fresh fish from the fish market, which is around a 10-minute walk from the shopping mall. That is where I found this Oyen sleeping with his whole heart.

We just walked slowly, enjoying the lazy morning walk. This was a familiar walkway to the fish market. I think those who always read or stalk my posts will be familiar with this walkway.

But one thing that I didn't realize was that there was a small tailor at the entrance of KK Plaza Mall, located just in front of the market. Again, we were inside the mall just to see if there were any available money changers inside the mall. We found one, but the rate is quite expensive compared to the previous mall.

I was walking across the road just to get to the market. That place was very packed with cars as usual, and that is why I didn't use my phone to take photos because I had to lead my wife across the road.

The first section that we found before reaching the fish market was the vegetable market. There were a variety of vegetables being sold there, but they were a little bit expensive compared to those that can be found at the early morning market. I guess they also get their vegetables at the same morning market and resell them again from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. We didn't buy any vegetables because we stuck to the mission of fish hunting.

After crossing the green vegetable market and crossing another road, we reach the fish market, which is just near the sea. We have three fish markets that operate almost 24 hours a day. The market that we went to was the one that operated from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. After 4 pm, they moved to another location, which was near the food market and another 15 minutes walk from that area. The cheapest option is another time period early in the morning at a place we call SAFMA (this was the place where the fish were transferred from the ship to onshore; I can guarantee you that it was really cheap and fresh; actually, I only been there twice because I didn't wake up that early).

But the market price for our place, even at this market, was super cheap. I spent only RM 18, which was around $4, to get 5kg of fish.
