Black-throated loon

The Black-throated Loon Diver, also known as the Arctic Loon, is a stumning aquatoc bird that is sadly listed as endangered due to a number of factors that have impacted its habitat.

Black-throated Loon Divers require specific habitats to thrive. I managed to find such a place.

These birds are also very sensitive to human disturbance and prefer to nest in isolated areas, away from human activity.

Conservation efforts are underway to help protected the Black-throated Loon Diver and its habitat. This includes measures to reduce greenhause gas emissions and slow the pace of climate change as, well as effots to reduce human activity in their habitat and protect areas where they nest and breed. It is crucial that we take action now to ensure that these beatiful birds can continue to thrive in their natural environment for generations to come.
