A necessary introduction.

9 years ago I had to leave the country for a work contract. Two years I was to be separated from my wife, with a month's vacation in between.
It was a trial by fire for our relationship and my return and the consolidation of our relationship was the confirmation for unbelievers and believers of the strength of our love.

When I returned I composed this poetry with assonant rhyme as a gift to my favorite muse: My wife.

Distance in love

Who said that there is distance in love?
That the heart doesn't love if you're far away,
If the feeling burns when you love,

Fight for being so far apart,

And one without the other does not work.

Now that I'm back I love you more,
And it seems like I never left,
That this passion for you never passed,
And our love has become eternal.

Overcame all the trials of life:
Distance, comments, heartaches, forever.

Hace 9 años tuve que salir del país por un contrato de trabajo. Dos años iba a estar separado de mi mujer, con un mes de vacaciones de por medio.

A mi regreso compuse esta poesía con rima asonante como regalo a mi musa favorita: Mi esposa.

¿Quién dijo que hay distancia en el amor?
Que el corazón no ama si estás lejos,
Si el sentimiento arde cuando se ama,
Y la pasión se aviva por tenerte.
¿Quién dijo que el amor y el corazón?
Luchan por estar tan alejados,
Si entre ellos no hay contradicción,
Y el uno sin el otro no funciona.

Ahora que volví te amo más,
Y tal parece que nunca me he ido,
Que esta pasión por ti jamás pasó,
Y nuestro amor se ha vuelto eternizado.
