Después de las dos primeras derrotas

El inicio de esta serie al mejor de cinco no fue nada bien para el equipo de mi provincia porque perdieron los dos juegos, ambos en su terreno de juego, en el que son prácticamente invencibles.

Muchos auguraron la caída de los Leñadores porque no estaban jugando a la altura del equipo que en las dos últimas temporadas se alzó con el título del béisbol en Cuba. Mi opinión

A pesar de la victoria, tengo que ser honesto y objetivo y explicar que a Villa Clara la inexperiencia le jugó en contra porque Las Tunas no tuvo la ofensiva demoledora que le ganó el sobrenombre de Leñadores, ni sus lanzadores estuvieron a la altura del campeón nacional.

Villa Clara tuvo serias deficiencias en el corrido de las bases, les faltó concentración en los momentos esenciales del partido y, en los dos últimos encuentros, los lanzadores del bullpen no supieron garantizar las ventajas que les entregaban sus abridores.

The start of this best-of-five series was not good at all for my province's team because they lost the first two games, both on their home field, where they are practically invincible.

Many predicted the downfall of the "Leñadores" (The Lumberjacks) because they were not playing up to the level of the team that had won the Cuban baseball title in the last two seasons. However, they managed to tie the series playing as visitors and secured the chance to decide the ticket to the semifinal phase at their own stadium, as the guest team at that stage had to win 4 games.

Villa Clara had serious deficiencies in base running, lacked concentration in essential moments of the game, and in the last two games, the bullpen pitchers failed to secure the advantages given to them by their starters.
