Lo que está ocurriendo en las dos finales de conferencias puede considerarse como una venganza, pues, en ambos casos los equipos que van ganando han sufrido a manos de sus rivales.

De una parte, los Denver han sido eliminado por los Lakers en tres discusiones de finales de conferencia y en el otro duelo los Celtic derrotaron a los Heat en las finales de conferencia de la temporada anterior. Esto puede cambiar, pero hasta ahora las cosas pintan mal para los dos equipos más ganadores en la historia de esta competencia.

Han concluido los dos primeros partidos de las finales de conferencia con resultados que, si bien podían suceder, para muchos es una sorpresa mayúscula. Es verdad que los cuatro equipos están muy parejos, pero hay plus que se le añaden a cada conjunto en fases de play off que hasta ahora no han fructificado en los equipos perdedores.

Cuando este autor hizo la publicación, sobre las finales de conferencias en sus pronósticos dio como favorito en este duelo a los Denver Nuggets y lo hizo, a sabiendas que los rivales tienen una historia superior, que han venido levantando su juego, eliminaron a los actuales campeones de la NBA y que son el equipo que junto a los Celtic de Boston archivan la mayor cantidad de campeonatos en la Asociación Nacional de Baloncesto (NBA) con 17.

En esta serie el autor dio como favoritos a los subcampeones de la campaña anterior: Los Celtic de Boston. Lo anterior lo hizo por el rendimiento regular del equipo, siendo el segundo conjunto que más partidos ganó en la campaña regular, por tener a uno de los dúos más letales de toda la NBA (Jayson Tatum y Jaylen Brown) y por haber mantenido al equipo que lo llevó a las finales del año anterior y hacerlo con un juego armónico y estable.

Es cierto que en la temporada anterior la final de la conferencia entre estos equipos se definió en siete juegos y que el Miami Heat es un excelente equipo, pero, otro elemento a favor de los Celtic es la temporada irregular que tuvo el Heat durante la etapa regular. En favor de Miami hay que decir que su juego ha ido mejorando en cada uno de los play off de esta postemporada y están resultando un equipo muy difícil de derrotar.

Los aspectos importantes en estas victorias de Miami Heat:

Estamos viviendo dos series de play off, en los que si bien, se han producido resultados probables muchos dentro de los que encuentra este autor no esperaban que ambos estuvieran con el mismo marcador de dos juegos por cero y ganando los dos equipos que menos historia tienen.

Muchos esperan que pasen a la final los Ángeles Lakers contra los Boston Celtic porque será una final que enfrentaría a los dos equipos con más anillos ganados en la NBA, con 17 y quien resultara triunfador, de darse esta final, pasaría a ser el equipo más ganador en la historia de la NBA.

De momento Denver Nuggets y Heat de Miami se están encargando de cambiar la historia y con el juego que están desarrollando y el dominio mostrado tienen muchas posibilidades de ganar sus conferencias y discutir el campeonato de esta temporada, algo que sería inédito en esta competición.

In this series the author gave as favorites the runners-up of the previous season: The Boston Celtic. He did this because of the regular performance of the team, being the second team that won more games in the regular season, for having one of the most lethal duos in the NBA (Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown) and for having kept the team that took them to the Finals the previous year and doing it with a harmonious and stable game.

It is true that in the previous season the conference finals between these teams was defined in seven games and that the Miami Heat is an excellent team, but another element in favor of the Celtics is the irregular season that the Heat had during the regular season. In favor of Miami, it must be said that their game has been improving in each of the playoffs of this postseason and they are proving to be a very difficult team to beat.
