Hello y'all! Today I'll share with you something different, my favourite K-drama. I've seen a lot of them, but personally I think this one has it all. It's an excellent suspense story that is wrapped in a lot of mystery, it has a lot of twists and turns, it's mainly focused on the school life of the kids, also on the teachers, and finally on the parents. Its main theme is bullying, but when it's taken further, when it's so strong that the consequences are devastating, both for the victim and for those who do harm, and at the same time it shows how it affects the spectators who do nothing.

Hola a todos! Hoy compartiré con ustedes algo diferente, mi K-drama favorito. He visto muchísimos la verdad, pero en lo personal pienso que este lo tiene todo. Es una historia de suspenso excelente que esta envuelta en mucho misterio, tiene infinidades de giros y escenas bastante fuertes, esta enfocada principalmente en la vida escolar de los jóvenes, también en los profesores, y finalmente en los padres. Su tema principal es el bullying, pero cuando es llevado más allá, cuando es tan fuerte que las consecuencias son devastadoras, tanto para la víctima, como para los que hacen daño y a la vez deja ver como afecta a los espectadores que no hacen nada.

The protagonists of this story are orphaned twins, who were separated at the age of 5 when one of them (the older sister) Eun Byul was adopted by a kind woman who had no children. Both had very different lives, and only one of them knew of the other's existence. The one who was adopted grew up with a family, the other grew up in the orphanage, although each had their difficulties Eun Bi the younger sister, was bullied quite severely and unfortunately she has a very passive personality, so she didn't stand up for herself, she didn't seek help either, she just put up with whatever she got, and sadly it all started because she was helping another girl who was being bullied.

Las protagonistas de esta historia son unas gemelas huérfanas, que desde los 5 años fueron separadas cuando una de ellas (la hermana mayor) Eun Byul fue adoptada por una amable mujer que no tenía hijos. Ambas tuvieron vidas muy distintas, y solo una de ellas sabía la existencia de la otra. La que fue adoptada creció con una familia, la otra creció en el orfanato, aunque cada una tenía sus dificultades Eun Bi la hermana menor, era víctima de un bulling bastante severo y para su desgracia tiene un personalidad muy pasiva, por lo que no se defendía, tampoco buscaba ayuda, solo se limitaba a aguantar todo lo que le tocaba, y tristemente todo empezó por ayudar a otra chica a la que molestaban.

I've always been fascinated by the approach that Asians give to everything, if it's something very beautiful, they are able to make you wish to have something like that in your life, if it's something very sad, they are excellent at touching those sensitive issues and using the right vocabulary to touch the right keys, achieving in a very efficient way that you feel somehow the sorrow of that scene, but what I like most and usually surprises me is how raw they can be when it comes to scenes that are strong, like the bullying they show in this drama, sometimes it's just too cruel.

Siempre me ha fascinado el enfoque que le dan los asiáticos a todo, si se trata de algo muy hermoso, son capaces de hacerte querer tener algo así en tu vida, si se trata de algo muy triste, son excelentes para tocar esos temas sensibles y usar el vocabulario adecuado para tocar las teclas correctas, logrando de forma muy eficiente que sientas de alguna forma la pena de dicha escena, pero lo que más me gusta y suele sorprenderme es lo crudo que pueden ser cuando se trata de escenas que son fuertes, como el bullying que muestran en este drama, a veces es simplemente demasiado cruel.

It's a drama that made perfect use of its 16 chapters, here you can get to know in some depth the life of many students, their problems and how they deal with them. They show school life from every possible angle, how unfair life can be no matter how old you are, how hard it's to be alone, the reasons why a person sometimes behaves irrationally, the relationship between parent and child, the teacher-student relationship, and of course how fickle the relationships between classmates and friends can be. Basically they show everything from many different perspectives, making you get involved on a more intimate level with the characters, making you take everything that happens to them very personally, whether it's good or bad.

Es un drama que aprovechó perfectamente sus 16 capítulos, acá podrás conocer a cierta profundidad la vida de muchos estudiantes, sus problemas y como lidian con ellos. Muestran la vida escolar desde todos los puntos posibles, lo injusta que puede ser la vida sin importar la edad que tengas, lo fuerte que es estar solo, los motivos por los que una persona se comporta a veces de forma irracional, la relación entre padre e hijos, la relación entre el maestro-alumno, y por supuesto lo voluble que son las relaciones entre compañeros de clases y amigos. Básicamente muestran todo desde muchísimas perspectivas haciendo que te involucres a un nivel más íntimo con los personajes, logrando con esto que te tomes de forma muy personal todo lo que les sucede, ya sea algo bueno o malo.

After watching this drama I became obsessed with the lead Kim So Hyun and her great portrayal of twin sisters Lee Eun Bi and Go Eun Byul. At only 15 years old she easily conveyed everything she had to with both girls, her changes were totally convincing and her acting was so good that even though they were identical, despite their differences in clothing and hair style, it was enough to see her to tell them apart and because of that it was always easy to identify them. Their transition from rough girl to sweet girl was genuine, almost natural, it didn't seem forced, I never saw it like that.

Después de ver este drama quedé obsesionado con la protagonista Kim So Hyun y su interpretación tan grandiosa de las hermanas gemelas Lee Eun Bi y Go Eun Byul. Con tan solo 15 años fácilmente transmitió todo lo que debía con ambas chicas, sus cambios eran totalmente convincentes y su actuación fue tan excelente que aunque eran idénticas, más alla de sus diferencias de estilo de ropa y cabello, bastaba con verla para distinguirlas y gracias a eso siempre fue fácil identificarlas. Su transición de chica tosca a chica dulce fue muy genuino, me pareció muy natural, no parecía forzado, nunca lo vi así.

The main antagonist of this story, Kang Soo Young, is simply ANNOYING, there is no other way to describe her, not in my case. The truth is I find it amazing how well that girl acts, she has a very well done character, she's evil and that's it, no scruples, she enjoys putting others down, feeling like she's more powerful, overly spiteful, vindictive and very nasty, you can tell she has something rotten in her and as crazy as it sounds, she is one of the main reasons why I love this drama, whenever she appears she simply disgusts me which means her acting was so good I somehow hate her, haha.

La antagonista principal de esta historia Kang Soo Young, es simplemente DETESTABLE, no hay otra forma para describirla, no en mi caso. La verdad es que me parece increíble lo bien que actúa esa chica, es un personaje muy bien hecho, ella es malvada y punto, sin escrúpulos, disfruta poner por debajo a los demás, sentir que es más poderosa, excesivamente rencorosa, vengativa y muy desagradable, se puede decir que tiene algo podrido en ella y por más loco que suene, ella es una de las principales razones por las que este drama me encanta, siempre que ella aparece simplemente me asquea lo que significa que su actuación fue tan buena, que de alguna manera la odio, jaja.

The main boys in this story are a very promising athlete who practices swimming and another boy who is somewhat peculiar, a troublemaker who has a reputation for being crazy, because of his sudden actions that make no sense in the eyes of all the other students. The swimmer Han Yi An (Nam Joo Hyuk) is a humble boy who lives alone with his father, he is the childhood friend of Eun Byul, so they are best friends, they have a special friendship. On the other hand, Gong Tae Kwang (Yook Sungjae) is the misguided son (although he has his reasons) of the school principal but no one knows it. Despite being wealthy, he is very unhappy and is always getting into trouble for skipping classes.

Los chicos protagonistas de esta historia son un deportista muy prometedor que practica natación y otro chico algo peculiar, problemático que tiene una fama de estar loco, por sus acciones repentinas que a la vista de todos los demás estudiantes no tienen sentido. El nadador Han Yi An (Nam Joo Hyuk) es un chico humilde que vive solo con su padre, es el amigo de la infacia de Eun Byul, así que son mejores amigos, tienen una amistad especial. Por otro lado Gong Tae Kwang (Yook Sungjae) es el hijo descarriado (aunque tiene sus razones) del director de la escuela pero nadie lo sabe. A pesar de ser adinerado, es muy infeliz y siempre se esta metiendo en problemas para faltar a clases.

As I mentioned at the beginning, there are many characters that you will get to know in a deeper way at a certain point, making it clear why they are the way they are, in what circumstances they live and all the problems they have both at school and with their families. I could say that this story is like a roller coaster that never stops, there is always something going on and the fact that the lives of the other students will be highlighted makes it even more interesting and not at all monotonous, especially the constant scenes where the teacher tries his best to protect his students.

Como mencioné al principio, hay muchos personajes que se conocerán de forma más profunda en determinado momento, dejando en claro porque son de la manera que son, en que circunstancias viven y todos los problemas que tienen tanto en la escuela como con sus familiares. Podría decir que esta historia es como una montaña rusa que no se detiene, siempre algo esta sucediendo y el hecho que resaltarán la vida de los otros estudiantes lo hace aun más interesante y para nada monótono, en especial las escenas constantes donde el profesor intenta hasta la imposible por proteger a sus alumnos.

Finally there is a death wrapped in a mystery, I would like to give more details to arouse your interest more effectively, but I prefer not to, every twist is well thought out, each character reaches his limit in different circumstances, I find it difficult not to feel identified with at least one of the characters, there are many different problems that happen to young people, and they are problems that are very common, it's something that happens every day.

Por último hay una muerte envuelta en un misterio, me gustaría dar más detalles para así despertar su interés de manera más efectiva, pero prefiero no hacerlo, cada giro esta bien pensado, cada personaje llega a su limite en distintas circunstancias, me parece difícil no sentirse identificado con al menos uno de los personajes, son muchos problemas diversos que les suceden a jóvenes, y son problemas que son muy comunes, es algo que sucede a diario.
