Are we becoming a FAUCET blockchain?

avatar

BITCOIN rises not only on price but also in dominance, however the total Market cap is more or less the same as we have experienced since early August.
And when it does so, it squeezes the majority of the altcoins till the max.

Most of the squeezed altcoins are DeFi projects which are now losing interest in favor of the crypto king.
The most stable keep being the traditional altcoins as ETH, XMR, XLM or LTC which at least try to defend their stake of the cake.

It's a pity to see what is happening nowadays with HIVE, we survived to another hardfork, which has not change substantially our base algorithm and which has not have any effect on the HIVE price but the contrary...
When I first started on STEEM, back 3.5 years ago, I read somewhere, not on steemit, that STEEM was the king of the "FAUCETS"... Seeing the great potential of STEEM, now HIVE, I have never thought it would be used as a FAUCET blockchain but, honestly, I think we are closer than ever to that stupid vision.
HIVE is clearly being used to accumulate satoshis. Obviously, we are certainly not doing well in terms of advertising ourselves and being in the 150 position on the coingecko's ranks does not help at all.

By when a proper Business Management Plan on HIVE?
What about a Marketing Strategy?
Should we fund the ideas of people like @khaleelkazi who has plenty of them?

At this point, we should stop refining the code and think about HOW TO SELL IT

Inaction will kill us.

Sorry for being so catastrophic...today my mood is bad.

I would agree we are still a faucet, hence the price of the token, there is more need to sell by people who try to earn, then those trying to buy to use the network. However, we are closing the Loop with things like LEO, they bring in outside capital from ads to put buy pressure on the token, they have various taxes and fees,

What also needs to happen to close the loop is e-commerce, as more people accept HIVE straight for their business then you don't need to sell it you can buy what you want direct and keep recycling the currency.

It will come wiht time, as BTC moves higher it brings everything with it eventually, as that happens more users take note of the 'easiest' way to earn and they come flocking.

New people get lost in many posts talking about HIVE because they can't relate just yet. Need some kind of newcomer HIVE community.

I see that may be the case... When btc is pulling up majority of alt coins hive seems to be adamant to stay put. 😑 Hopefully this will change soon!

Ethereum is becoming much more dominate than BTC in every metric except total market cap. I believe this cycle ETH becomes #1 Crypto in all metrics including price.

For HIVE to succeed communities like LEO or Splinterlands may indeed onboard tons of users into HIVE which will fuel token prices, especially with proper HIVE tokenomics.

I feel like much can be do with HP in DeFi.

I truly hoped that we were not but we did become a earn and sell cryptocurrency unfortunately... Let's hope another bullish mood will happen. As we still have most of the Gaming Dapp. We just need a plan to improve the econometrics of the HIVE token.

If you asked me: ADS Buyback !
