I love Fridays... 48!!!!!!!!!

One more Friday, time to rebalance my HIVE stake, also, it just so happens that today is my birthday!!! So, I've taken the afternoon off and I'm going to take a good Easter vacation these days. Yes sir, 48 years is not just another number in my age portfolio.

Although I feel young and managed to do more things than many of them, I have to admit that time passes, and taking advantage of opportunities to enjoy life become more and more important things for me. For example, I increasingly see the possibility of early retirement as more likely.

It's funny that when I talk about this possibility with people my age, they see it as an unfulfillable dream. I think it is feasible, at least for me, to stop working for someone else.

Don't get me wrong, I like to work but I like to do it for myself. In addition, in the project in which I work, I have reached a quite high hierarchical level, so my expectations of reaching even higher have been reduced considerably and, to tell you the truth, I would not want more responsibilities in exchange for a little more money, but with more stress...

So, everything depends on how free you are from not only work but family responsibilities, in my case, I have a daughter about to enter university and a son starting high school, if all goes well, mortgages and debts paid, my responsibilities are going to relax in the next few years, so I see retirement from my traditional work between the ages of 52 or 55 becoming more and more feasible.

Everything, however, requires a plan, sticking with my savings and investment plan are key but also slowing down the level of pressure at work since personal goals have changed has to be a must.

No more putting work before the other important things in life.

Health, time and safety for myself and mine are the priority objective from now on.
