Improving!!!!

You are not going to believe it, but I and my co-workers could be the only citizens of my country with a company vacation on a Monday like this.
Yes, I work in an institution that has its own vacation days and this is one of them.
Naturally, my wife and children do have to face their respective work and educational tasks, which leaves me free to do whatever I want for a few hours.
And you know what I wanted the most? Sure, go for a run with my dog in an environment that at this time is free of people. The wetlands of the Llobregat river next to my city and very close to the airport.
It has been good training. 10 km run in strict progression way in 44 minutes, finishing the last km at 3'50"/km, which has awakened the lactate threshold improvement detector on my sport-watch.

167 bpm and 4'/km agree with my previous history and the last stress tests I did some years ago, at least as far as heart rate is concerned...
I have to sat that the obtained pace is good but I had reached 3'42"/km when I was preparing for the last Marathon I participated in...

Anyway, at 47 years old and with so little specific training, this result is simply spectacular!

I have taken some photos of the surroundings which is amazing...

also to say that is very close to the airport, in addition to riverside birds, what was seen most were planes, one every 5'...

At the end of the activity, we stayed in the shade for a few minutes... Enzo thanked me.😅

I continue to improve and, what is better,injury-free.

This Saturday afternoon I have a competition.

5000m at night, I hope to rise to the occasion!

Keep on running!

Your heart rate is good with a reasonable pace speed, you are doing well. Running in the midst of green nature increases human enthusiasm. If you continue to train well, you can run 10 km in half an hour👍

I like your smart brand design,to increase your endurance and speed, you should carry weights on your back and run with them. It helps to straighten and reach high levels. Wish you all success in 5k race

I would be worried the shoes could catch on fire at these speeds :)

For how long do you have to keep your heart rate over 100 bpm for the fat burning to kick in.

I read somewhere that 35’ a day, jogging below 120 bpm is a very effective method
