Why accumulate BTC (and HIVE btw)?

If you search the keywords "Crypto Adoption rate" you can find more or less precise estimates regarding the percentage of the population using crypto in some way.
This percentage seems to be estimated today at 3.9% of the population or approximately 300 million people and, as expected, continues to grow at an almost exponential rate over time.

In fact, in 2021, the annual growth rate was estimated at 113% in terms of users and although phenomena such as the LUNA crash may have recently affected global confidence in terms of adoption, cryptocurrency users are growing at a current rate of over 100% a year; this is well ahead of the adoption rate that the internet saw back in the 1990s and early 2000s btw.

It's good to say that it appears that If this rate of adoption slows to 80% cryptocurrency will still hit 1-billion crypto users by 2024 which means it will represent 12% of the world's population, which is massive.

It must be taken into account that, of all these crypto users, not all have opted for BITCOIN as the first option of adoption, most of them do so with altcoins (aka shitcoins) in which many see greater short-term profit capacity, it is for this reason that the adoption of BITCOIN does not grow in the same way as the adoption of crypto in general but over time, and as learning increases in new users, many of these users are finally opting in favor of BTC as the measure of real adoption of this technology.

Recently, in a study published by Blockware Solutions it has been possible to calculate the percentage of the population that has used BITCOIN since its creation, 253 million entities.
But this does not reflect the population that has stopped using BITCOIN or that have zero balance in their belongings. If we make the difference between new entities that have BITCOIN and entities that had but do not have today, we obtain the Entities Net Growth that gives us a more realistic idea of how many entities own and use BITCOIN by taking its cumulative sum, which gives us a value of 30.8 million unique entities (users) on the network right now.

And this value corresponds to only 0.36% of the world population... which tells us that we are still far from crossing the technological barrier between "Early Adopters" and "Early Majority", traditionally estimated at 10% of the world population.

This study reveals that this threshold will be crossed, at the current rate of growth, by 2030...

I don't know about you dear friends, but as much as I want to see it with critical eyes, I don't see any reason to doubt about the bright future of BITCOIN that is to come.
I only see that there is still a lot of room to accumulate each of the sats that come my way as well as HIVE, without a doubt. Scarcity and sustained adoption will provide their best results in a few years from now and I believe that any small effort made today is going to be massively multiplied in the near future.

Time will tell, but you don't have to be very smart to figure out which horse is the winner here.

There are big obstacles how crypto will be accepted world wide. They are national regulations. Every country has different regulations about crypto. When there are more countries that make btc or crypto as legal tender, there will be big jump of the use of crypto
