Wednesday Walk | Slight Rains, Exercise and Nature Exploration.

It has been raining for the past few days here in our place. As much as we want to go outside, we cannot do so as there's a chance of rainfall.

Dyn-Dyn's been getting cranky these past few days because she is just stuck in our home. There are times wherein she is holding my hand and guiding me to walk outside our door. Unfortunately, we cannot as the sky is dark.

She is not feeling well, and her appetite is not in good shape. I ordered food in Jollibee, a regular yum with spaghetti. Fast food in the early morning isn't something that we often do, but since we don't have prepared food available for her, we have no choice but to order one.

After eating, April and I agreed to go outside for a walk since the sun was still okay.

It was around 07:00 AM when we walked. We thought about buying some vegetables and rice along the way but I forgot to bring some money.

I had closed already the gate of the compound and I am too lazy to go back. So I just told her I will just buy them later that afternoon.

Outside we saw some mushrooms growing in a log. We stared for a while and talk if whether we can eat it. April mentioned it might be a mushroom that is edible but she is not 100% sure, she guessed it was a black mushroom/ tenga ng daga. @eunoia101 or @jhero22 may know what this is, or it is edible as we are not experts in this type of stuff.

We didn't harvest it and let the mushroom grow. If it is still there in the next day or so, then someone already took it, but if it isn't, then probably it isn't edible.

After ten to fifteen minutes of walking, I saw this cart filled with unripe bananas. Most likely they just got this recently and will just wait for it to ripen at home. It is still raining every time and strong winds can easily destroy banana trees.

Each time that there's a harvest like this, my father-in-law will bring us a handful of fruits.

April will either have them fried in a small amount of oil, or create a turon if she can prepare it at a later date.

The sun's still smiling even though the clouds are becoming darker. We already reached halfway to our destination as we already saw the guardhouse. If you can notice there are a lot of fences within the area, this is where they keep the fighting cocks used for derbies.

When we passed the rooster farm, small tidbits of rain fell. I didn't bring our umbrella, and we agreed to go home before it gets worst.

Some of the elder people we encountered are also rushing to go home as strong winds are approaching. If you will ask me why there's no shade around that we can stay in the meantime, it is simply because this is a highway, and most of the houses are far.

After reaching the compound, the rain stopped. We rested for a while because we ran Jumper greeted us.

Jumper's a senior dog in the area and the one who usually guards the whole compound. Each time that we go outside, we are accompanied by him making sure that we are safe. The only problem that we have is he is quite aggressive with other people.

He barks and chases vehicles and bikers that pass the area and because of that, the owner is getting multiple complaints from the Brgy because of his behavior.
