Hello weekend wanders,

I hope you're well ^^

After months of scorching heat, the rains last night brought some relief to us. The weather was so cool this morning. It was dark and cloudy. I still woke up early and went running and cycling.🏃‍♀️🚴

Normally many people cycled along the beach road every day, but today I felt only me, lol; I guessed most of them were in bed. Ok, sounds good, now my road :) Well, I understand- good weather to scroll inside the cosy blanket. Back home from cycling at 7 AM, I felt it was still early, and I have still 1 hour left to do something else as I start work at 8ish, so I decided to go cycling for an hour. Woohoo, now I rode a bike without hands, so fun and fantastic. Genuinely, I'm not a professional biker, skillfully at a high level because a 5-year-old boy can do ride a bike no-handed. 🤣 However, it's really cool and makes me feel good, that's the reason why I went out again for cycling in the late afternoon. 😎

I was too active today and overdid it 😀 I love summer, but I don't mind it stays like this for the rest of the month to be overactive every day. I think I'm a bit talkative, and I don't know why I suddenly so energetic today. Forgive me :)

I intended to share my activities the last weekend 🙂; I had a great Sunday out of the city and explored another attractive spot. I was told that it's difficult to trek and climb over the cliff to get to the waterfall and the green lake. I thought I would not join because I had hectic and stressful weeks dealing with the new job. " I may need a relax weekend", ~ I talked to myself. Oh well, ignore it as I keep asking myself the same countless times. However, I finally turned up at the meeting point on the next day and joined them on the adventure :) We went in a group of 7 people, but only me female. Ok, Fine :))

It took us about 40 km west of the city centre and nestled in Hoa Bac countryside commune in which is known as the home of many waterfalls, wild streams. And green mountains in the area. It was not far and easy to find the location.

There is a green lake and a waterfall in the middle of nowhere covered by the green colour of the forest and mountains. This place is quiet, fresh and has so much greenery. It's an idyllic getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. Yes, I was glad t to join my friend on this adventure.

We spent half a day swimming, relaxing and reconnecting with mother nature. Let's forget about the beach since we're not allowed to enter the beach or swim now due to the restriction. So how cool it was to jump in the natural pool like this. I got tanned easily just after a few hours of swimming here during noontime. Well, never mind :))

I was extremely impressed by the natural landscape around Da Nang. There are so many beautiful places that I've never visited before. I don't think we will run out of ideas about getting around and immerse in nature around this city.

It is a beautiful and peaceful weekend getaway, far from the hustle and bustle of the city into the loving arms of nature.~ unknown
