PowerWash Simulator - Pressurized Cleaning Service

Despite how much I keep my hygiene in check, I am not exactly what you might call a person that likes to keep dirty laundry clean or the dishes spick and span all the time. This game might not cure my affliction, but it sure was a wholesome experience of just cleaning dirt off. It felt calming, soothing, but most of all, it was a serene experience.

That experience boils down to a number of factors, but there's a lot you can do in a game like this, it feels like it can be played on the side, or if you're just multitasking things. There's no urgency to complete the task fast as possible, either. There's no competition either, it feels like a game that is just ok to play, because of something tangibly unique about it.

In times like these, we need a game like this. Helps to pass the time before checking back to reality for the day. A simple game like this has all kinds of effect on you, ones that even makes you contemplate if you're truly living your life or not. Without further ado, let's talk about this.

Enter main menu, there's no music to welcome you to the game. Just silence before I started hovering the mouse to each selection and clicking on new game. And in my first mission, I am cleaning up this van. No music here either. Just the sound of friction from the plastic boots, and the noise of water being shot from my water gun.

When I saw how dirty the van was, I thought this task was asking too much from me, since I have to spend like maybe an hour worth of time cleaning everything. Soon as I started shooting the gun, something changed. I feel a bit more relaxed. Everything's going well thanks to the soothing audio design, and how I've started to learn how to wash the dirty away everywhere. I was transfixed in the experience.

It all boils down to the amazing sound design and visual information. Normal simulations have minutiae of details given for smaller things, but even with a game that's simple as this, those elements work so well here. You see water dripping down on surfaces or staying there till they dry out, letting you it has been worked on.

The game lets you know everytime you clean a certain item or section, there's a glow indication and this bling noise, that noise just feeds the dopamine even more. It's obvious by now that this was made to be played as an ASMR, while wearing headphones.

In fact, I played this often times if my day had a lot of going, if I was in the mood for some music, or maybe listen to an audiobook. You can do a whole without feeling like you have to finish them in a set time or have to complete every order of each mission to get payment. There's even online co-op, but it's only restricted to friend's list.

This is a chill game, but with practice and understanding the equipment, there are patterns you start to learn after a while playing. There's a reason for that, it has to do with the progression system, the more you earn, the more stuff you can buy for your water pressure gun.

It'll take hours of gameplay, but I'll sure come back to this and just play when I have nothing better to do. At least there's no pay-to-win nonsense or some terrible grind where it'll take me eons just to get a nozzle replacement. No, there are a lot of things to pick up and work with. It's not a simulator if it doesn't allow you to go all the way.

While the main career mode unlocks missions after missions to complete, there are special stages that have nothing to do with career and earning, but takes you to odd places like cleaning the Mars Rover in Mars, with 5 other players instead of just 1 additional from career. Outside Career, and Special, there are 2 other modes too if you're feeling up to them.

I could actually open some criticism about it not being so robust full of features like other games, but the experience works that I guess it works for the most part. I'll have to assume, given time, the developers will add more content to try out.

I toggled free aiming mode on, going full RE4, crouching and proning even. The approach to play style with such versatile gameplay offers so many cleaning methods. With more missions unlocked, the game requires you to eventually use stools and ladders for unreachable areas on foot.

I wish I could say more, but I think what I gave should suffice. It's a simple game that just effectively works in providing a serene, soothing experience. Also, pressure cleaning is a real thing. I just found out.

Anyone, who play this game, are seriously bored. Or simply do not know what to do with their time. I am also a gamer, so I also like video games, but I do not think that I would enjoy playing a cleaning simulator. I clean enough in the real life. But maybe this is just/only me.

I forgot to mention that the game gets very nifty with the water gun cosmetics. But if cleaning isn't your thing, then I can't convince you otherwise.

It is. But only in real life. And mostly only out of necessity. So I would not say that I particularly like doing it. But I do not hate it either.

They have a simulator for so many things these days... 😅

This isn't really my thing, but my partner enjoys pressure washers and things, to the extent he's part of a reddit community where people show off before and afters and durings of pressure washing. Might show this to him and see if he'll like to play it. xD

I feel like it's a game that needs time to grow. Funny enough, it got out of early access just a while ago. But again, the main selling point is how it feeds visual information and the amazing audio design.

Usually i'm not a fan of simulators, but i'd be laying if i Say that i don't want to play this Game.

As You describe it, the relaxing experience that You can get while playing is something that i want to try ngl, after all seeing how the dirt is removed by water is something that i really like Even in real life despite the fact that i'm not exactly the cleanest person on the planet
