This photo was taken by me last week when we visited Les Cascades du Hérissonin in France.
It was a steep climb that took us to several beautiful waterfalls. The environment there is so nice and green. It's really nice in combination with the rocks and the flowing water.

I recently visited the Island of Sao Miguel, the biggest island in the Azorian Archipelago. The image depicts the laurel forest surrounding the two main lagoons, the Blue and the Green, located in the far west. These lagoons are actually the lower part of the craters of ancient volcanoes and are surrounded by lush forests, such as the one shown in the photo.

A plant with a very particular tone of green is the bamboo tree. I call this tone: “bamboo green”. When we see the trees from a distance the leaves have this particular color that I mention. Besides that they also have an interesting texture. In the photo that I show here, I tried to captured these facts.
