You are kindly invited to take part in TRAVEL CONTEST's theme today "Street Art" :)

Feel free to interpret the theme in every way you like, hopefully more people will be inspired, motivated and challenged to join this contest round!

  2. To enter, upload your photo(s) and text into the comment section below. There's no need to create a separate post.
  3. In order to be considered, an entry should consist of at least one photo and your personal story/info/memory.

  5. All the text you enter must be written by yourself in English.
  6. Deadline: One week starting from the datetime of the contest announcement.

Thanks for choosing my photo today. I actually have a street art photo as well. I saw this mural in Lisbon Portugal. I'm not sure who the artist is but I've seen pieces by them in other parts of Europe as well.

Shepard Fairey and Vhils are the creators 😊 And what these guys have done is genius, imho. Thanks for showing this art here, I'm in love with Portugal and Lisbon in particular (who isn't 😃)

Great subject, let’s go with something else than the obviously… that is still StreetArt.
On my travels to the US, in the state of Florida I found this cute guy.

Somebody decorated a fire hydrant. You see it depicts a fire fighter, with helmet ⛑
This was in the back streets of Miami. Wandering around to explore late at night.

In this mural I really liked the combination of pastel colors with primary colors with high intensity, that contrast is very attractive to me, first the cream background, which makes the hummingbird with its colors stand out and take all the attention, around it you can see the pink flowers with pastel shades, which complement perfectly with the cream background.

This mural is not drawn with perfect strokes, but this is not necessary to generate impact, from several meters away, it captures our attention, it is inevitable to get closer to observe in greater detail, the general concept and its striking colors.

The street art portrait of the oldest chief at nearest restaurant around my town . Old but still strong and healthy , wish her long healthy life .

This street art is located in Maracaibo, Venezuela on Avenida Bella Vista where every year in November they turn on lights and hallucinatory decorations for Christmas. It is made of soda lids and other types of bottles and its creator is the Artist Oscar Olivares and it was created in honor of the patron saint of Zulianos, the Virgin of Chiquinquira.

Este arte de calle esta ubicado en Maracaibo, Venezuela en la Avenida Bella Vista donde todos los años en el mes de Noviembre hacen el encendido de luces y decoraciones alusivas a la Navidad. Esta hecho con tapas de refrescos y de otros tipos de frascos y su creador es el Artista Oscar Olivares y fue creado en honor a la patrona de los Zulianos, la virgen de Chiquinquira.
