Clearing Out Weed From The Garden To Prepare For Spring | 清理花園的雜草預備春天的來臨

The weather in Sydney have been fabulous and seeing that my neck is a lot better, I thought I get the garden ready so first thing to do is get rid of the weeds that has been growing all through winter. It makes the garden so disgusting and untidy so that is the mission before I start planting things before Spring starts next week. So I got my tools ready and some of the shallots I want to plant with the exisiting ones and if I have time put some need seeds in.

最近悉尼天氣非常好所以今天覺得頸痛有好轉就到花園清理一些雜草預備在春天的時候可以種一些新蔬菜. 我整個冬天都沒有打理花園所以這個時候都長了好多雜草，好討. 今次想種多一些蔥和一些菜種子希望四至五個星期後會有新鮮東西吃.

First up let me show you what has been growing over winter. There are the trusty shallots that never failed. I haven’t bought much shallots the whole of winter and cooking so many meals at home thanks to the constant growing of supply of these shallots. There are also two loads of garlic which should be ready in another 3 months. Our citrus trees which has been planted by the previous owners, you can see the fruits are coming out already! Our plants are doing so well these few weeks leading up to spring.

先給你們看看這個冬天我們花園的果樹長成怎麼樣.這幾條蔥整個冬天都長得非常快，因為疫情的關係在家裏常煮飯都會在花園裏拿一些來煮餸.還有我用了兩款不同的蒜頭，這些三個月後左右就應該可以食.這些柑桔樹都是上一個屋主種的但看見春天就快到已經有好幾個可以食.

So I got down to work and gave myself 30 minutes to do some weeding. OMG, the amount of weed fills half a bag and that is only around some of the shallots and a small portion of the garlic area. Plan is to clear the whole shallot area and plant some radish or lettuce around there hopefully have something to eat from the patch in 4-5 weeks. I will be giving you all some updates on how things are going, hopefully I succeed with the plants as I have been told Spring is the best time to start.

我限自己30分鐘看看可以清理多少雜草. 轉個頭已經清理了兩大堆草而這些草是來自蔥和蒜頭這兩邊. 因為已經太攰所以明天會繼續清理種蔥這一邊希望可以清理完種一些生菜，四至五個星期後就可以食.好多朋友跟我講春天是最佳的季節種東西所以希望今年的收成會豐富啦.
