Food Sharing #173 - Mikazuki @ Sydney | Travelgirl 美食推介 - Mikazuki

Hi Everyone/ 大家好,

This probably was the last few Japanese meals prior to COVID19 when it hit Sydney. We were out with friends without the kids (rare occasion!) so we want to make sure we can find something we can eat in peace and whatever we want rather than cater for the kids. Our friends are also a fan of Japanese food so they suggested going to Mikazuki at Parramatta. We rarely go to Parramatta as it’s a little far from us but we were around the area for the day so it was a perfect choice.

今次介紹這間日本餐應該是疫情之前最後吃的日本餐廳. 當時當然不知道疫情會爆發得那麼厲害所以這個時候就跟兩個朋友一同試這間日本餐廳. 因為當天沒有小朋友跟我們一起所以想揀一間餐廳讓我們盡情吃，不要照顧小朋友的心態來叫餐. 這間餐廳位於 Parramatta，我們好少去 Parramattta 因為離我們家比較遠.

Let’s have a look at the menu first. This is only a part of it, there are lots of choices. There were 4 of us so we ordered a whole heap of food including wagyu sirloin beef steak, mushroom tobanyaki, a prawn entree & a Mikazuki Sushi Plater. We were told the servings were pretty big so we thought that should be enough.

先看看餐牌. 以下只是一部份的餐牌，我們有四個人所以今次可以叫多一點東西吃. 我們叫了一份和牛牛扒，蘑菇芝士焗飯，一份蝦人頭盤和他們招牌壽司拼盤. 朋友告訴我們這裏餐份量比較大所以不用叫太多.

My friends were right, the servings were bigger than the usual ones we have in our area. The wagyu steak was substantial with 2 pieces, mash & an egg plant at the bottom. Really great value for what you pay and the meat just melts in our mouth. The prawn entree came to together with the mains was nice and I just wanted more. Wish they could make it to a main size. The mushroom tobanyaki smelt so good when it came out. I was a bit weary of the cheese but it wasn’t overpowering and it just sits so well with the rice.

朋友當然沒有講錯每樣份量都比我們平常吃開的餐館大.和牛份量非常充足有兩塊牛扒，一些薯仔和茄子. 用這個價錢可以有這個份量真是非常抵食而且味道剛好. 之後蝦仁頭盤味道亦非常好因為是朋友推介覺得如果可以改成正餐份量就更加好. 之後就有蘑菇芝士焗飯，一出餐的時候芝士味非常濃都有點擔心會有太多芝士但原來跟飯一齊吃原來非常好味絕對不會覺得太多芝士而且蘑菇的香味非常甜.

Finally the main thing I was waiting for. The sushi platter was huge! The pieces were very big so it felt like you are getting great value. The variety of fish in the platter was pretty amazing so there were plenty to share around the table. The platter really was ordered because the girls wanted it so we pretty much at most of it while the guys had the beef and rice. There were limited seating at the restaurant so when we finished, there was already a line outside. Service was ok and the food came out in a timely manner. We will defiantly go back here again if we are around the area.

最後就是我和另外一位朋友最期待的壽司拼盤.這個拼盤份量非常大而且每件壽司材料非常足所以大家都吃得非常開心. 這個拼盤有不同材料讓大家都可以找到心愛的壽司種類.如果我們再去 Parramatta 都會考慮到這間餐廳用餐因為今次的食物真是令我們覺得好滿意.
