Newbies initiative task 4: Navigating all hive Apps

I'm glad I made it before the deadline, I didn't know exams was going to take all of my time. I have barely even had enough time for myself but I had to make this post just before I continue to read for my 8 o'clock exams tomorrow. I have 15 pdfs to read but that's not why I am here. This is my post for the newbies initiative task 4 and we are talking about different #dapp apps and how we view them.

The first question is;

What is your Favourite Hive dApp and why do you prefer it over other dApps?

If you haven't guessed it yet, my favorite dApp is Peakd. When I signed up, it as the first app I used and I just got used to it. The design is very amazing and easy to use. I'm sure every other dApp has their individual unique feature but I've come to learn and love it. Posting using Peakd is straight forward, you can preview every post and schedule posts. This is a common feature in other apps but since I'm mostly used to Peakd, I can talk about it.

You can also set the way you preview other people's posts and lot's more, you just need to know what you're looking for. Another reason I like peakd is the fact that I can view my Hive Engine and I can reach the currency market from my wallet.

I think the only thing I don't like is the fact that we can't mark the notifications I've read. There's only an option to mark all as read and sometimes we forget the ones we haven't engaged with.

Other than that, its an excellent dApp and its very easy to use. There are others like #vblog, #Ecency, #3speak #Liketu, but I'm not too familiar with those.

The second question is;

Have you used the Ecency dApp?

If YES, what do you like about it;
If NO, what are your challenges?

It's not really a challenge, I've just been so comfortable with Peakd that I have not tried other dApps. I think it was from my onboarder taught me how to login using Peakd and since I don't have a problem using Peakd, I have not tried others but there's a first time for everything and this is an avenue to try out #Ecency

The Third;

What is the unique feature of 3speak frontend over other Hive dApps?

Unlike other dApps, 3speak allows you to upload videos to hive and is the most recommended video app for Hive. I don't know how to use 3speaks all that well but I know the publishing is similar posting using Peakd with the addition of posting videos too.

The last question;

Why should you publish your images through Liketu?

With @Liketu I can upload multiple images (depending of my choice of pictures) along with a write-up (which can be written on Liketu or written and copied form other Hive frontends like exency, peakd) . What makes the publishing of images through Liketu frontend outstanding is that it allows one the privilege to post to any community of our choice. This is unlike @leo-finance or @neoxian frontends where you can not post outside there community whenever you make use of their frontends.

You can upload multiple images along with a writeup. If you've used the @leofinance app before, you would know that you can't view posts from other communities, just the posts and yours on the @leofinance community. This is not the same for #Liketu. You can view posts from different communities and make use of their frontend whenever you like.
