A RECOUNT OF MY YESTERDAY HAPPENINGS.

Yesterday was Sunday and I was very excited because it had been a long time since I went to church. I woke up early around 5am everyday . But yesterday, I stayed in bed until 6am looking at my notifications on Hive, which is the only place of importance to me on the internet

At 6am, I got my kids up and ready. I took my son to the bathroom first to help him get washed up and dressed. Then I woke up my daughter, who is younger than my son. I let her sleep a little bit longer because she is little. My husband jokes that I favor her by letting her sleep in, but I just like doing that.

After getting the kids bathed and dressed, I had picked out their church clothes the night before so that made it easy. I had also ironed their outfits ahead of time. For myself, I went to take a shower. I had planned to wear a yellow dress I had chosen, but when I asked my husband to zip it up, he accidentally broke the zipper with his strong hands. So I quickly had to find something else to wear that didn't need ironing. I ended up wearing a black skirt and lilac colored top instead.

We took a bike to church and when we got there, I had to do an extra rehearsal with the choir since I had missed the one on Saturday. We went over the songs a few more times so I would be ready to sing them during the service. Thankfully the song wasn't too difficult.

During the actual church service, I was one of the backup singers in the choir. It was really fun. After the service ended around noon, our pastor asked all the choir members to come to his office. In the meeting, he talked about some choir issues. But since I hadn't been there in a while because of being busy with school, I didn't get in trouble for anything brought up.
My sister had called me to come take pictures but I wasn't feeling it, so ignore her Call, though they did take pictures of themselves.

The meeting lasted until 2pm. After it finished, I talked to the pastor privately about something personal going on in my life. He prayed with me about it, which was very helpful. But I don't want to share those personal details yet until they are resolved, then I will share the testimony here on hive block chain.

Around 2:30pm, we finally left the church. On the way home, we stopped at the local store to buy ingredients to make stew and rice for lunch, Once at home, I started cooking right away.

After we ate the rice and stew as a family, I was able to relax for the rest of the day. The past week with the breath taking exams at school had been so tiring with many late nights of studying. So my family and I went to bed earlier than normal last night to catch up on sleep.

Overall, it was just a regular Sunday focused on church and being with my family. Even though nothing too out of the ordinary happened, it was really nice. I had missed going to church and being part of that community during my time away for school. Getting to go back and be in the choir again felt wonderful and familiar. It was a day filled with faith, family time, and getting back into routines that are important to me.
