My entry to the Pay It Forward Curation Contest - Week 79

avatar

This is my entry for the Pay It Forward Curation Contest - Week 79 hosted by @pifc. The contest is run by @thedarkhorse and judged by me, @tryskele, @lynncoyle1 & @viking-ventures.

Nowadays it ain't so easy to find undervalued works on Steem, is it? Looks like something is changing. 😉

The rules of this challenge are very simple: Feature 2 High Quality Original Content Blog Posts from Steemians with a reputation score of 65 or under. The submitted posts must have less than $2 earnings at the moment.)

I want to present you with a couple of authors I've been following for a while and who are quite talented: @zanetaviz and @curly-xu.

Here's the preview of both featured posts:

#1 - @zanetaviz (56)

@zanetaviz joined the Steem Network over a year ago, on June 8, 2018 and she has been posting regularly ever since.

Zaneta is from Lithuania, most of her posts are about photography but today she presented us with a fabulous portrait drawing of her own. I know she doesn't consider herself to be an artist and most of the drawings she publishes are not recent, but she should think about picking up her pencils again! 😄

The featured post I picked is:

@zanetaviz has been posting very often but most of her posts are earning very little. Let's see if we can change that. :-/

#2 - @curly-xu (62)

@curly-xu is an artist who joined Steem on December 26, 2018 and she has left her mark pretty quickly, with her beautiful style and her awesome posts about her work with a classroom of kids!

Her name is Oksana and she currently lives in Ukraine.

@curly-xu doesn't stick to a single style, she paints a bit of everything, from portraits to animals, as well as monsters and insects. Her works are usually funny and very powerful.

Check out her last portrait, published yesterday:

@curly-xu is a good example of consistency... she's been posting very often, and usually high quality posts.

# Final Thoughts

At the time I'm writing this, both posts have little rewards, with $1.81 and $1.25, which is not too bad, but could be better.

I think @zanetaviz and @curly-xu are very talented individuals and I hope they can keep growing and showing off their talent and skills using on the Steem Network.

Please give them some love and support. Any help is appreciated.

Will show these to my oldest son... he's an artist and 5 mins ago he was drawing a battery pack in open invasive environments (meaning he would be drawing depending on the intrusions of the environment against what lights affect on what he sees).

That's interesting. I bet some cool drawings come out of that!
Thanks for your visit.

Thanks. These days it seems that good content is being rewarded more. Finding a couple of good posts under $2 is getting tricky. And that's a good thing.

Thank you so much, @trincowski, for featuring my drawing (I do not dare to call it a piece of art, though ;))!!! It's such a big surprise to me, wow!!! :) 😂 I really appreciate that!!! 😂 Thank you for keeping an eye on my posts, for your comments and such a nice description of me in this post! THANK YOU VERY MUCH! 😄

You're welcome. I hope you decide to give it another try, if you have the time and patience, of course! 😁

This time you have really motivated me! 😃
I have patience, but so little time. I still continue to draw, when I have free time, mostly with pencils. As you can guess, this type of drawing technique requires much more time than, for example, water colours. Drawing with pencils is extremely time-consuming :) That's why I do not have many drawings, but some are coming little by little :) I'll post them ;) Thanks again! :)
