We can't discover new oceans if we don't have the courage to move away from the shore. - Andre Gide
Hello my dear followers and visitors
I hope you are well, I am very glad that here in Romania the weather has started to warm up a bit which is a good sign that not long from now we can resume our nature walks because not long from now nature here is going to give an amazing show by the way it comes back to life.
But until then let's go together to see how the exploration of one of the most beautiful cities in Central Europe went, namely Prague.
Last year in December we visited this beautiful city and I chose to share with you the beautiful moments spent here through the posts I make about this city, today I chose to present you one of the emblematic places of Prague, namely the Charles Bridge (Kurluv Most), a centuries old bridge that crosses the Vltava River, over 500 meters long it enchants the eyes of tourists who come to visit it, you can not visit Prague without crossing the Charles Bridge.
From what I saw the Charles Bridge is a pedestrian bridge linking Mala Strana and Stare Mesto, since the climb on the bridge I noticed that it is decorated with many statues representing important figures in Prague's history, each statue having its own history.
We are lucky that the weather is excellent only good to walk on the bridge, until we reach the bridge we came on some very chic paved streets, at every step we met a lot of tourists especially on the bridge, such a walk gives everyone an amazing experience but also a view over the city and the Vltava river.

Some of the statues on the bridge were under renovation, also here we met street artists or souvenir sellers, also from the bridge we saw some boats that were full of tourists, if the weather was so nice we decided to take a boat ride.
After getting off the Charles Bridge we came across some guys selling boat trips on the Vltava River, asked how much the trip cost and, having decided to try the experience, paid 12 euros/person.
The guys explained to us where we had to go to get on the boat, anyway I think it was the last trip of the day, and we had to meet them when we got on the boat, we were a bit nervous until we managed to find this place but we were not alone and there were other people doing this excursion.
This is where we took the boat on today's excursion.

This is our boat that will take us on the Vltava River.
Ready we boarded, our boat had an enclosed area where it was warm and nice where you could serve juices, tea or coffee and of course an area above equipped with benches which is very used in summer, in December when we were there even if it was sunny outside it was cold enough to sit outside, you can see from the pictures that it was just us all the tourists were inside, even from inside the view of Prague was amazing.
We discovered one more activity you can do here in Prague, besides the rest of the known sights and the boat ride is an amazing experience because you can see from the water some of the most important sights in Prague, such as even Charles Bridge or Prague Castle or part of St Vitus Cathedral and many other wonderful places.

Let's enjoy the charm of the city seen from the boat.
The duration of the trip was about two hours, two hours in which we had the opportunity to see this beautiful city from the water, and although many ascents and descents on the deck, at one point the wind started to blow and we did not last too long on deck.
For today I stop here, I hope you enjoyed the places I shared with you today.

The architecture of bridges and buildings there is always impressive... Have you tried riding on that boat?
Yes, we had an amazing experience that I recommend to everyone who comes through Prague, when we visited Prague it was not so hot so we could not sit outside on the boat.
But from time to time I went out on deck to take pictures, I couldn't miss this opportunity.

You're welcome!
One of the most touristy spots in the city but no trip to Prague would be complete without visiting the Charles Bridge of course ;) Cool shots!

Thank you very much, indeed, no trip without crossing the Charles Bridge.
I really enjoyed Prague and I still have some more to say about how I got there, the Astronomical Clock, the Jewish cemetery and a Synagogue, I hope to have time to write about each a few lines.
