Fântânița Haiducului(The Outlaw's Well), one of my favourite places for a roadside relaxation

We like very much to travel by car, it gives me a feeling of safety and more than that I can stop whenever I want and in any place I want (I know there is the option to travel by plane which is also the safest option, but in Romania we have adopted the car mode).

Travelling by transport or organised excursions does not give you so much freedom (in these cases you have to follow a strict schedule and you will visit the sights in a hurry or you will not understand much because the group is sometimes too noisy, maybe some of you have experienced this).

In our trips to certain destinations we look for those places where we can combine the useful with the pleasant and we look for those restaurants that offer quality service, good food but also a place where I can relax while dining.

I have to admit that we have experienced many such places but only some of them have satisfied our requirements, I'll give you some examples, I don't like to sit in the same place where food is served and smoked at the same time, I don't like the place where they serve food to be played very loud music the examples can go on.

So today I want to share with you such a place that I found on the national road 1 that connects Sibiu and Brasov located of course in Sibiu county.

Fantanita Haiducului is a wonderful hotel complex that has modernly equipped rooms and the icing on the cake here is the view you get once you are accommodated in a room here, the hotel being located in the Bradului forest.

We only experienced the food offered by the hotel restaurant both during the day and at night when we found the Royal Beef Burger open here.

Let me show you what I found here.

Let's take a few steps inside.

Even at the entrance I was amazed, I didn't know where I had entered, because right at the entrance you were greeted by a motorcycle (real, not a model), it was like being in an American movie (I haven't had the opportunity to visit the USA to see if American bars are exactly like the ones I saw in the movies) but this place was perfectly similar to what I saw in the movies.

It was late at night so I just ordered a burger even though my stomach seemed to want to eat more.

During the time I waited for my order to arrive I explored every corner of this restaurant, and through pictures I will show you what I found here.

Please let me know in the comments (if you want of course) if this Burger Bar resembles something you have in your area, I am curious to see similarities and differences, even if we are maybe thousands of miles apart.

A complete relaxation must have something to eat.

We ate our fill and at the end I can say that the experience we had here was extraordinary, we ticked all our requirements.

I almost forgot a very important point.

After dining in the restaurant or at the Burger Bar you should know that there is a green area with benches, tables and a play area for children, a place to relax after a big meal.

So if you happen to pass through Sibiu county and head towards Brasov county, you should know that in the Bradului forest at the edge of the National Road 1 you will find Fantanita Haiducului, a place that I recommend.
