Is this my perfect life? - WE106 Weekend-Engagement

I've been sitting here for a good few minutes now and I keep thinking of writing a few lines as a development of one of my weekend challenges.

I can't get over the fact that I have to share with you some of my thoughts on:

Personal life
Are you happy with the way your personal life stands currently? If so why, and if not, what would you change about yourself or your personal life to shape it into the life you would like to have?

The answer to the question of whether I am happy with the way my personal life is presented, I can answer very honestly and part of me says yes and part of me says not so much.

Don't get me wrong that I am not happy with the way my life is going, but there is always room for improvement, I am always personally trying and striving to improve the way I live my life.
In everyday life we encounter quite a lot of situations where we have to make a quick decision, but at different times we keep postponing to make certain decisions, yes I know the more we postpone the harder it will be in the future.

Personal development for me always comes first after family.

I've come to understand how much my relationship with myself, with my family and with our mutual friends matters, about how it is with friends I remember writing a blog some time ago also here in the community.

I often tell myself in my mind that doing something that would contribute to personal development is a piece of cake, but as time goes by I realize that this is not at all so, but personal development is not a trivial thing, but it is something that you do, something that keeps you always active, you always have to make decisions that will not always be to everyone's liking.

So far I have talked about personal development, now let me tell you about personal life, here I have nothing to add, I can say that I am fulfilled, I have a family that loves me, I have a job that I practice with great interest, but here too there is always room for improvement.

Why is there room for improvement?

Because if we're talking about work, I personally always want to advance so that I don't get stuck at a certain level.

That's what I've done so far, I started from the bottom (I've never been ashamed of the jobs I've had), and with hard work I've managed to get where I want to be.

But even now for the sake of my family I want to go to the next level, why I say all this and because of the training I have, I have never accepted a job where the employer was a jerk and I saw that he wants me to stay at a lower level in order not to increase my salary.

I never liked such employers, I preferred to work in another field where I did not have the necessary training but with a few hours of training and with the help of good colleagues I managed to adapt and succeed.

About the way our life presents itself there is a lot to say being a very interesting topic launched by @galenkp, here we can talk about the success we had, we can talk about the luck or misfortune we had or even our failures.

In conclusion I can say that I am very happy with the way my personal life is at the moment, and I wouldn't change anything about it, I have a beautiful family, love and respect between us is the most precious thing and the welfare of our house we can both ensure through the earnings we have thanks to our jobs.

Thank you in advance for taking the time to read my post today and I hope you enjoyed it.

Yours @triplug

You seem to have a similar ethos to myself, the need to continuously improve, which is a good way to be. I think seeking that rather than chasing perfection leads to a more sustainable happiness in life.

You are absolutely right, I would love to see that person who can say they are perfect or have a perfect life.
In my opinion, the pursuit of perfection is a futile decision, which will eventually lead to disappointments, it is possible that failures turn into depressions, anything is possible.
Have a wonderful weekend!

I totally agree...best to seek improvement rather than seek that which is unattainable.
