Let me fly through memories - WEEK 151

Let me fly through memories

Memory is always a meeting place.- Isabel Allende

I have to admit I was a little nervous when I saw that this weekend's engagement posts weren't showing up, but lo and behold they did and I've already picked one to write about.

In order to tell you what the picture I've attached represents I have to dig through memories or fly through them, I chose to post a drone picture to be more comprehensive.

The photo was taken in the county where I live, more precisely in the village where my grandparents lived, unfortunately today I am left with only memories.
Căprioara is a village situated at the foot of some amazing hills, it is crossed by the river Mureș and more than that it has very fruitful fields, but unfortunately today the population of this village is very old and as you can see in the picture many fields remained uncultivated and the forest will slowly take over them.

At the top and right of the picture you can see the hills with thick forests, somewhere in the middle you can see the road leading to the village, somewhere at the bottom you can see a small part of the Mures river and the most spectacular is that at the foot of the hills at the top of the picture you can see the church and the village of Căprioara.

This photo brings back a lot of memories of when I was a kid and used to come here on summer holidays to my grandparents and stay for a week and experience country life to the full, gosh what a time it was then, today apart from the crosses in the cemetery there is nothing left here, but even so I come here whenever I get the chance, especially in spring when nature comes back to life, it's amazing.

The image taken from the drone gives us some details of the alleys in the area we can see and the area as a whole, which I'm sure many didn't know looked like this, for me the image has a sentimental value that brings back memories.

I don't want to go into too much detail because I would have to write a lot here, but nevertheless I can't help myself and I have to tell you that some of the land that you see here in the photo, my grandparents and I when we were on holiday used to come here and work the land, especially growing potatoes, onions, garlic, sugar beets, corn, yes, we didn't have as much stress as today.

Now, in keeping with this weekend's commitment, I hope you'll enjoy this photo, a photo in which the raw green colour predominates, in which we can see those lovely hills and, unfortunately, when I took the photo it was cloudy and we couldn't have a blue sky.

If you liked what you saw and read here please don't forget to give a LiKe, Follow, reBlog or a Comment, for all this I thank you, and until the next post I say goodbye.

P.S. The attached pictures you have just seen are taken by me with my mobile phone and drone, and the text is also designed by me.

Yours @triplug!

Wow! The photo shows how beautiful the place was. I can imagine the fresh air and cold breeze of the place and it seems so relaxing.

Yes, this is where I used to spend my summer holidays when I was at school, but unfortunately today there are only memories and some crosses in the cemetery.
