Sava Brancovici Manor in Ineu, Arad County, a journey through the history of the place

Hello everyone

My dear visitors, today I want to visit together an impressive place that is an emblem of Ineu, it is the place where you can either dine or stay, the place where you feel at home.

Where is it located?

Sava Brancivici Manor is located in Ineu, a town approximately 55km from Arad, on Calea Traian Street, nr.9.

Yes, I have chosen to share this place with you here in the travel community and not in another community simply because this mansion is a museum in the true sense of the word.

The mansion came to life a few years ago, when investors took the risk of investing over two million euros to bring back to life a building that had been abandoned by its former owner.

These investors realized the potential of this place and its importance on the tourist map of the area, so with a lot of money, a lot of projects and a lot of work they managed to bring this mansion back to life and to its true value.

Right from the entrance you will find objects that are already over a hundred years old.

These two objects are grape presses in which freshly harvested grapes were placed and rubbed, after this process the must was obtained and only after it was fermented was wine obtained.

This tunnel gives access to the restaurant.

This restaurant has parking spaces and a special charging place for electric cars.

This is what the restaurant menu looks like.

Let's go inside.

Including the door at the entrance to the restaurant is the original but has been restored.
What do you think it looks good?

The restaurant also has a spacious outdoor terrace, which is also decorated in traditional style.

Its location is perfect, just across the road is the Ineului Fortress, another very important tourist attraction in the area, which is also in the process of restoration, also in the area we can visit the daffodil orchard or the hill with vines.

What is so special about this mansion?

The mansion is built to state-of-the-art standards, but during the construction all the original objects were preserved, i.e. doors, windows, bricks, all were refurbished by very skilled craftsmen, which made the investment amount to such a large sum.

This is not just a mansion or accommodation but an experience.

Both in the restaurant and in the rooms it has, the decor has been kept as it has been since it was built, just refurbished, yes, this place has some very spacious rooms.

The breakfast is buffet style, everything is made of traditional dishes bought from local producers, no supermarket food.

The experience we had here was amazing, very welcoming hosts and a diverse menu from several international cuisines (Italian, Mediterranean, Hungarian), from what we learned every Thursday they get fresh seafood directly from Croatia.

We tried the traditional style breakfast and after lunch when we came back here we tried Italian and Hungarian cuisine, yes, we ordered spaghetti carbonara Italian style and goulash and for dessert papanasi with vanilla sauce and chocolate.
