Visiting the amazing Golubat fortress in Serbia part. II
I love betrayal ....but I hate betrayers!
Niccolo Machiavelli
Welcome back dear travel lovers as I wrote in my previous post about my visit to the Golubat fortress in Serbia, today I will share with you some impressions from inside the fortress.
In the last post I talked about how we got from Romania to Serbia, how we took the ferry to get to this amazing sight, the costs of getting into the fortress, and today I will tell you some things about what the fortress looks like inside.
Let me not forget to tell you that the visit of the fortress is done by zones depending on the type of ticket purchased, from what I saw at first glance, only one area could be visited, namely a few towers and a small part inside.
But depending on the equipment you have you can do an amazing route where you actually climb the cliffs to climb one of the towers, for that you need special mountain shoes.
After an hour and a half exploring the outside of the fortress, it was time to explore the inside.
So we entered the first room that came our way, where we found a rather large room where there were about 50 chairs as a kind of meeting room where a person explains to tourists the history of the fortress and with the help of a projector (it is worth to stay ten minutes to enrich yourself with tabs of Serbian history).
Also on display in that area are many articles of clothing worn at the time, something that leaves you speechless.
That was it, I said after an hour spent in one room of the fortress, so I moved on and started exploring the towers I had access to.
It is worth mentioning that the difficulty of visiting the fortress is average, anyone can visit it as long as they purchase the same type of ticket as ours.
The towers give you glimpses of the history of the place but also some amazing images, at each level of the towers there are information panels where you can learn exactly about the past of the fortress.
My dears that was it for today , I thank you in advance for stopping by, for supporting me as this @triplug project moves forward, but I am also grateful for the advice you will give me and see you in the next post .
