Hello friends,

poza20.jpeg

Today I'm going to show you some random images, these images were taken around Lisbon, which is the capital of Portugal, a coastal, hilly city.

I really like to analyze the style and form of buildings, I am very curious by nature, and want to learn as much as possible about certain targets that fascinate me.

Some of the photos captured around the city caught my eye and I want to share them with you.

Praça do Comercio, Lisbon's main square, where the royal palace once stood. Today, this impressive square is framed on one side by the Tagus River estuary and on the other by the lovely arch of Rua Augusta, with the statue of King Joseph of Portugal standing halfway down the middle.

The Santa Justa Elevator - Elevador de Santa Justa is a 19th-century elevator, inspired by Gustave Eiffel's creations, that transports passengers from the steep hill in the Baixa district to Largo do Carmo and the ruins of the Carmo Monastery. The structure is adorned with neo-Gothic arches and geometric patterns, which places it among Lisbon's most artistic and photo-friendly monuments.

National Museum of Azulejo (the painted tiles that decorate buildings in Lisbon and beyond).

Largo das Portas do Sol is the heart of Alfama and the place from where we admired one of the most beautiful sunsets.

The ruins of Carmo Monastery are a photographer's dream, with its Gothic arches leading the eye to the blue sky. The monastery dates back to the 14th century and was destroyed by an earthquake in 1755, today it is a popular museum among tourists.

Belem Tower, built on an island on the Tagus (Tejo) River in the Tagus area of Lisbon, is one of the most symbolic buildings in Lisbon.

Sintra, the royal town of romantic palaces and lush gardens, is twenty minutes from Lisbon and is a mysterious and fascinating place.
