Hi to all my virtual friends

I still have that good vibe from the last holiday we spent in Slovenia and Croatia with our friends.

So today I want to share with you the special moments spent on the small island of Krk in Croatia, a place not very touristy but with a special charm and complete tranquility, exactly what we were looking for.

Zgribnica beach is located in the small town of Vrbnik, honestly as soon as I crossed the bridge that connects to the island of Krk I really didn't know what to choose to visit, there were so many amazing places, starting from the stone fences that enclose the properties, the vineyards, the area being known for producing great wines and the restaurants with those fancy terraces and delicious food.

Zgribnica seems at first glance a beach hidden from the eyes of tourists, we actually found it by mistake, we were looking for the city center, and because we did not find parking spaces we continued to walk on the narrow streets (even very narrow) of this magical city (Vrbnik).

It was quite difficult to find a parking lot with spaces available but we managed to leave the car in a parking lot (the parking cost us 8 euros/4 hours) and then we drove up the road and saw a bay opening up ahead, clearly we wanted to see what it was all about, so we arrived to explore the small Zgribnica beach.

It's a little strange to us that these places in Croatia are built on hills with lots of stairs to climb or roads winding up hills.

From the moment we saw the unreal colour of the Adriatic Sea water we were enchanted and couldn't miss taking at least a walk there.

Do not expect the beach to be with fine white sand and lots of sun loungers, because in almost all beaches in Croatia the beaches are made of pebbles, but this can not be an impediment not to come here, on the contrary, the place is very quiet, here we did not find the noise of overcrowded beaches in tourist mega-resorts.

The ideal place to set up to sit on the beach or even snorkel, the water is very clear, the ideal place to discover the underwater world.

In conclusion, the small Zgribnica beach on the island of Krk is the ideal place where you can go sunbathing, snorkeling or any water games, you will certainly feel perfectly away from the noise and the tourist eyes.

P.S. I don't think Zgribnica beach hidden in this rocky bay will remain so quiet for long, rumours travel fast, hehe.
