The first stop of our trip today was Hadrianopolis, an ancient city located between Ankara and Karabuk in Turkey! We took a 4-hour drive from Istanbul to come to this ancient city, which is one of the places I have been curious about for a long time and wanted to visit. I was incredibly excited because my interest in ancient cities has increased considerably in recent years. As someone who does spiritual research, my interest in ancient life and ancient traditions is increasing day by day. Before coming here, I got information about the ancient city on the Internet and from my friends who have information about the ancient city here. I will try to convey you in the best way possible in line with the information I have obtained. For more detailed information, I will leave a source at the end of my article. You can get more comprehensive information there. When we reached the ancient city, we encountered an incredibly cold weather. Since it was quite hot in Istanbul, I had chosen my clothes accordingly, but I want to say that I had difficulty here due to the cold weather conditions. Nevertheless, we started our exploration trip without losing my interest in this place. The area was quite deserted, I can say that there was almost no one except the archaeologists who were excavating.

Although this ancient city, which is said to have been founded in the 4th century during the Roman period, has not yet been completely unearthed, they managed to unearth a church decorated with mosaics during the excavations. As a result of the findings, it is said to be a highly developed city. I was so excited while walking here that I forgot about the cold weather and started sweating. I still question why I was so excited!

After leaving the protected area, we started walking towards the other side of the site. Since excavations were still going on here, we met a few archaeologists and had a chat with them. They said that they were having a hard time working in the cold weather, but it was clear from their eyes that they were doing it with love. They had uncovered many findings such as Roman baths, walls, water cisterns and rock tombs in the area where they continue to work. I really respect them and admire their work.

It seems that the work here will continue for many more years. Although they are still at the beginning of the road, I want to say that they have made a lot of progress. I want to come back here in a few years and follow the developments on the spot. I am very curious and excited about what will come out. I am sure that when everything is finished, an incredibly beautiful work will come out. Add it to your list of places to come and see! We are on our way to our next stop. Stay with me!

Yes, it is a very valuable country that has hosted many historical events where many beliefs are blended at the same time. But I think it is not yet fully appreciated. There are many secret lore and valuable places that are known by very few people. Especially the Anatolian lands of Turkey are very precious and mysterious!
