🕷️💉 The Woman Who Injected A Black Widow 🕷️💉
Ok plebs, time for another bizarre medical case!
This one is really freaky and showcases how creative some people will get chasing the next high.
So, in this case we have a 37 year old woman who smashed a whole fucking black widow, mixed it with water and straight into her system 💉🕷️

A 37-year-old woman with a history of IV heroin use crushed a whole black widow spider, mixed it in 10 mL of distilled water, and injected the mixture intravenously.
And it worked! She got her trip. A trip to the hospital that is 😂
One hour later she presented to the emergency department complaining of severe, generalized muscle pain and cramping, mainly affecting her abdomen, thighs, and back, and of a headache and anxiety.
After being admitted she made clear there was no intention to commit suicide or whatever. She just wanted to get high.
Soon after her vitals started getting worse and worse. Tachycardiaa, high blood pressure, more pains etc. Who would have thought?! Injecting the most deadly spider in the world straight into your veins would fuck you up 😆
She was given morphine for the pain and a bit later she developed dyspnea and wheezing, possibly exacerbated by her history of asthma. It was time for the ICU:
Methylprednisolone was given, and the patient was admitted to the ICU.
After two days and various treatments her vitals returned to normal and she was pain free.
The next day she got discharged and sent for psychiatric evaluation.
A month later the lady returned for a follow up and she seemed to be doing just fine.
I guess the moral of the story is...Stick to the basics when it comes to drugs? 😆
