Yet, it's enough to make you richer then half of the human population:

Well, if that number is correct I guess I am doing relatively fine as I coincidentally have pretty much the same amount in my hbd savings 😂
If we take into account hive power, then I have over three times said number. Shit, it's hillarious and somewhat sad how just my hive engine token portfolio is worth numerous time that number. Heck, just my Leo stack, is twice that. A token that pretty much nobody knows other then our little bubble I guess 5 years of shit posting wasn't wasted 😂

Btw, numbers are a bit outdated and are from 2018, so I guess after adjusting for inflation they are probably a bit higher. Doesn't imo matter much, as the point of the post is mostly to give a perspective and a point of reference :)

That's an interesting statistic! It's definitely eye-opening to think that having just $4,210 to your name puts you in the top half of the world's population. It's also interesting to see how much higher the thresholds are for being in the top 10% and 1% of the world's population.

In the back country of Thailand, that number might make your retired for the rest of your life.
It is one of the problems of straight money. You can get such huge disparities.
Also, the wealthier countries also have an increase in house/land prices, because what else are you going to do with that money?
