Yayyyyyy my secret Santa has finally arrived!
There were some unexpected problems with his first time trying to reach me (purely because of my retardness) but he was kind enough to try once again, and this time he was successful!
So I opened my mail box today and I had this parcel with this lovely letter inside
And inside the letter there was this bad ass 1 oz silver coin from Chech Republic:
I don't know about you but I really dig it! Definitely stole the position of my favorite coin from my Australian Eagle:
As for the back of the coin it features our beloved old hag from England:

The coin is minted by Czech Mint in the Czech Republic with the foreigner license of Niue. For that purpose there has to be Queen Elisabeth on the obverse side.

Diky! Now I get it, as I was confused because there is quite a distance between the countries. Also, Czech Republic is landlocked, where Niue is an island.

I remember the issue when they minted it. They were not allowed to use EURO to make it a coin. Therefore instead they changed to an Island Niue who are used to these requests and make a little money as poor Island state on this.
I don't know if they tried to mint it with EUR, but I'm glad they not. I don't like EUR ;) This is the reason I don't by Wiener Philharmoniker bullions.
