Manifest is a decent watch

I binge watched the first season of this series in the last 2 days so I figured to share my thoughts before starting the second. This is an NBC production that got canceled or something and then Netflix took over it and renewed it for a third season. Which explains why it is on Netflix and yet it doesn't suck major balls.

Anyways, the story is about a plane that mysteriously disappears while on flight during a badass storm.. only to appear 5 years later, with some of the crew members mysteriously getting the superpower of foresight.

The story isn't that much original and plenty of old shows pop up in my mind that share many resemblances. Yet I found the first season quite enjoyable and I like what they are doing with the story.

Also the acting is remarkably good considering how everybody is a bunch of nobodies.

Manifest is not perfect but imo it's a decent watch. Definitely worth a try if you are out of options!

Yeah, if it isn't on Netflix watching it might turn out to be a chore. The plot sounds like a combination of Lost and Heroes or one of these series where they just get powers out of nowhere.
What happened to the Marvel thrill of mad scientists and dumb ass experiments that make no sense but then bring forth the crazies like The Hulk and Tony Stark 🤣?
