A beautiful picture !

After ten years of positive trade balance for the European union, in August it had a deficit of over 50 billion. Nice πŸ‘

I have a feeling things are going to get a lot worse. Companies moving overseas to cut down energy costs, inflation blah blah blah. Oh well, the big winner is probably the U.S and as long as we dont get a societal collapse in the E.U., I think I will do fine. I got BTC, hive, hbd, plenty of other crypto, some gold, some silver and of course meme stonks. And summer cash to get me by.

As long as the US doesn't collapse I think I will be fine. Or possibly more than fine if the euro goes to the shitter and USD remains somewhat strong πŸ™ˆ

But yeah, things will get a bit ugly this winter but I think we will ride this storm, perhaps sooner than later. Hopefully those retarded bureaucrats in Brussels will get their shit together and stop being complacent in the acievements and glories of the past. I mean, this continent has seen way worse shit in the past. And no, unlike how many silly Republicans cheering for Mr. KGB Putin think (ah, the irony) we will not freeze to death. It's not like our houses are made from cardboard like overseas ^_^

Or maybe not πŸ˜‚

Oh well. Looks like there is a new season of the Sinner out on Netflix. I'll go watch an episode and forget about my worries 🀣

I hope that the crumbling of the Euro will wake everyone in Europe that the EU was a huge waste of capital and finally be rid of this redundant level of government.

Actually the eu was an amazing achievement and achieved many of its initial goals. It's just went to complacent, time to gear up or fail like Rome.

I love that you describe your silver pile as, 'some'.
In Australia, the rhetoric we're hearing is - is that we should avoid recession, but get ready for a shit show. We're all going to be worse off, and hey - how do you feel about raising taxes?

I got a pack of socks recently, called 'Nordic Socks'. I like 'em. If you move into a cardboard house in the downturn, I'd say spend 50 bucks and get a pack.

(Edited)

we will not freeze to death.

I should also move to Greece... But last few winters were not that bad in Lithuania as well. So maybe that trend will continue.

People will go after whatever is safe and I don't think people believe in the EURO that much. This is why I don't think the USD will be going anywhere for the next few decades.
