Today's silver post is about a famous cunt you have probably heard of before!
Mr. Immanuel Kant!
Never heard of him before?
Well, he is kind of a big deal 😅 Which only makes sense, otherwise we wouldn't see his ugly face featured on coins and shit:
Immanuel Kant (22 April 1724 – 12 February 1804) was a German philosopher and one of the central Enlightenment thinkers. Born in Königsberg, Kant's comprehensive and systematic works in epistemology, metaphysics, ethics, and aesthetics have made him one of the most influential and controversial figures in modern Western philosophy. source and more info
This by the way is a silver 5 mark coin minted in 1974, commemorating the 250 years since his birth.
It weighs 11.2 g with purity standing at 0.625. Yeah, not much silver there.
As is typical with German coins, the other side features a unique design of the imperial chicken:
That's one badass chicken! 🐔
The edge is also engraved with the words ACHTUNG FUER'S MORALISCHE GESETZ which translates to Attention to Moral Law.
I guess these words were chosen because a large part of his work was about morals, ethics and how humans should use as a guide in their actions.
All in all, a decent looking coin with nothing special about it, unless you are a huge fan of the fella!
