The Epitome of Perfection

(Edited)

A few days ago @cinetv announced a contest, asking us to write a post about our favorite political/historical movie.

Ok, that's an easy one.

My number one recommendation in this genre is Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, a Hollywood action film about Abraham Lincoln, how he became the president of the U.S. and his contribution to the victory of the Union against the confederate vampire hoards.

Words just can't do justice to this one of a time MASTERPIECE. Yes, some may complain it's not a 100% accurate film.

Yes, they are right. The creators did take some MINOR creative liberties here and there but remember...this is a Hollywood movie so that's ok. If I wanted to bore myself to death I would open the Wikipedia page of Abe. Still, after finishing the movie you can confidently say you know all the 101 basics about Abe you need to know. And to be fair, they got most of the important details 100% right.

And the creators did provide with not one, but two of the most epic action scenes of Hollywood history, the one with the horses and the one with the train. Just watch the movie, no spoilers from me although you probably have a faint idea since we are talking about important historical events of the US history.

Everything else about the movie is just perfect. Music, acting, pacing, you name it. Perfect.

Tldr, Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is the epitome of perfection. A must watch for all ages and genders ! 11 / 10 from me.

Go watch it. Now.

P.S: There's a parody of this great movie called Abraham Lincoln vs Zombies. Although not as historically accurate, it's a fun watch too!

I had watched this movie 10 years ago, you brought back the memories to me that I collected DVDs in those days, thanks to my 2nd child who used them as frisbees and now I have a few remains of them. !LOLZ 😅

It is the perfect moment, since tomorrow the weekend begins and I will be able to look for it. I hope it's available on Netflix.

whoever wrote the Screenplay was a genius.

It's amazing how many people do not know that Abe saved us not only from Slavery BUTT also from Vampires. And he was mad agile.

Another random fact is he shaved his mustache portion of his beard as to not impede his ability to sniff Rebel Farts.
