This shit actually works!

Totally random post today, about a product that really impressed me this week.

First, let me start by saying I am not the biggest fun of deodorants. Always treated them as a necessary evil. Yes, they somewhat work but I always hated that bizarre smell and the white stains they leave on clothes.

So my wife told me about some new age bs natural vegan friendly (lol) deodorant that works with salt or some shit. The discussion we had went something like this:

  • Have you heard about blah blah salt deodorant
  • Sounds bullshit
  • But it has thousands of happy reviews!
  • Fake and gay
  • I am buying one for each of us!
  • Meh

Well, 99 % of the times my wife is wrong and this was one of the 1% that she wasn't.

I shit you not, this thing is magic. As long as you apply it after taking a shower, your armpit won't smell a thing for hours and hours. Nothing. Nadda. I intentionally skipped my night shower and next morning my arm pit was fresh like I just had taken a shower.

Application is pretty much like any other roll on deodorant. The only difference is you put some water on it first and then you have to dry it with a towel.

In case you wonder, here's how it supposedly works:

Salt of the Earth Natural Spray Deodorant works by leaving a thin layer of natural mineral salts on your skin. These mineral salts inhibit the growth of bacteria – the cause of body odour.https://www.biggreensmile.com/products/salt-of-the-earth-natural-crystal-deodorant-spray/csspray.aspx?productid=csspray

So yeah. Amazing product etc etc. Give it a try if you dislike regular deodorants like I do. It's slightly more expensive but it works like magic.

I definitely have to give this a try because I haven't heard of such before.

Theoretically, could I just use sea salt instead? Those rocky ones mush it up with vaseline and rub it on? !PIZZA

I would think: theoretically, you could do that but would ditch the vaseline. I suggest buying yourself a stick will be much more comfortable to use over a self-made substance.

That's so impressive. I need to give it a try, it's more expensive but you give a good review !

You intentionally skipped two showers lol to give it a proper road test? I hate deodorants and only use aftershave all over. Bit more pricey but I smell nice lol.

!LOL how on earth "You can Say she's 99% Wrong and 1% right". Ain't it's meant to be opposite or you're living in some parallel universe.

The Classic salt of the Earth fr. Sounds like an amazing product!

Yes, they somewhat work but I always hated that bizarre smell and the white stains they leave on clothes.

Same here, .. I hate those white stains.. But are they really white??

my arm pit was fresh like I just had taken a shower.

This must be really cool.

The only difference is you put some water on it first and then you have to dry it with a towel.

This feels stressful tho. I am too lazy for that.

Because I have a particular problem with sweating, allow me to tell you that the simplest and cheapest deodorant to avoid the bad smell of bacteria is baking soda! I was a fan of the old spicy deodorants, but I read about the aluminum salts they contain and tried to replace them! Baking soda really saved me!
Ps: You need to be careful to find the right amount so that you don't have irritations

Welcome to the club of salt deo stick users. And yes, it works! And not only for a few hours.
Be careful with wearing black shirts though when sweating a lot ;)
