Hello, Hive lovers! @irenenavarroart invited me to this initiative created by @rutablockchain and I find it very wholesome, we all have different but equally valuable experiences. Since I started on December 21 of 2020, my whole 2021 was defined by my journey with Hive. All the ups and downs, everything I was able to achieve, moments of great happiness, and moments when I felt scared about depending too much on Hive. I had to jump and decide that I will be fully on Hive so I can grow, big rewards or not, I decided to stay and develop my content, and use the time I invest in creating it to study something I really like: cooking. But that was at the end, let's see the beginning.
¡Hola amantes de Hive! @irenenavarroart me invitó a esta iniciativa creada por @rutablockchain y me parece muy linda, todos tenemos experiencias diferentes pero igual de valiosas. Ya que empecé el 21 de diciembre de 2020, todo mi 2021 se definió por mi viaje con Hive. Todos los altibajos, todo lo que pude lograr, los momentos de gran felicidad y los momentos en que sentí miedo de depender demasiado de Hive. Tuve que dar un salto y decidir que estaré plenamente en Hive para poder crecer, con grandes recompensas o sin ellas, decidí quedarme y desarrollar mi contenido, y utilizar el tiempo que invierto en crearlo para estudiar algo que realmente me gusta: la cocina. Pero eso fue al final, veamos el principio.
The beginning
I started constantly participating in the Blogging Challenge community, that was a lovely experience, there I had my first considerable big rewards, big enough to let me pay a lot of my expenses and even rent (I was only 10$ back then). I kept posting until I didn't have answers to the questions, my life is not that exciting and a lot of the questions were about love life hahaha and I got almost zero of that. Another community I liked a lot but several reasons I haven't been posting there is Shadow Hunters; it's not that is too hard, is that I barely go outside so I can't hunt any shadows haha.

Empecé participando constantemente en la comunidad del Blogging Challenge , fue una experiencia encantadora, allí tuve mis primeras recompensas considerables, lo suficientemente grandes como para permitirme pagar muchos de mis gastos e incluso el alquiler (por aquel entonces sólo eran 10$). Seguí posteando hasta que no tuve más respuestas a las preguntas, mi vida no es tan emocionante y muchas de las preguntas eran sobre vida amorosa jajaja y tengo casi cero de eso. Otra comunidad que me gustaba mucho pero por varias razones no he estado posteando ahí es Shadow Hunters; no es que sea muy difícil, es que apenas salgo a la calle así que no puedo cazar ninguna sombra jaja.
Discovering my place
Then I started posting in different communities, very randomly, just where what I wanted to write fitted. And that was a good and a bad idea at the same time because I never became a member of any community or hung out with other users, but doing so I learned that I was more successful with the content I felt easier because I really liked it, like my post about Wynonna Earp.
It was around July that I made my first recipe and in October I started to post constantly in the Foodies Bee Hive community. It really changed my journey, because I love cooking so I don't feel like I'm forcing my content, in fact, I enjoy it more every day and I get less and less coy to experiment in the kitchen so I can show you new recipes almost every day. It's very full of both enjoyment and rewards. And now that I'm focused on this community, I'm able to interact and actually enjoy posts from other users.
Encontrando my lugar
Luego empecé a publicar en diferentes comunidades, de forma muy aleatoria, justo donde cabía lo que quería escribir. Y eso fue una buena y mala idea al mismo tiempo porque nunca me hice miembro de ninguna comunidad ni me junté con otros usuarios, pero al hacerlo aprendí que tenía más éxito con el contenido que me parecía más fácil porque realmente me gustaba, como mi post acerca de Wynonna Earp.
Fue alrededor de julio cuando hice mi primera receta y en octubre empecé a publicar constantemente en la comunidad Foodies Bee Hive. Realmente cambió mi trayectoria, porque me encanta cocinar así que no siento que esté forzando mis contenidos, de hecho, cada día lo disfruto más y cada vez me da menos reparo experimentar en la cocina para poder mostraros nuevas recetas casi a diario. Está muy lleno de disfrute y de recompensas. Y ahora que estoy centrada en esta comunidad, soy capaz de interactuar y disfrutar realmente de los posts de otros usuarios.
Behind the scene, the times where my lack of engagement show the most were those when I didn't have votes or comments because I could see that those posts weren't seen by curators or other users so, I felt bad and had to work outside of Hive to pay bills, I lost my consistency for a while, but then I was able to get back with a renovated energy.
Detrás de escena, los momentos en los que más se notaba mi falta de interacción eran aquellos en los que no tenía votos o comentarios porque veía que esos posts no eran vistos por los curadores u otros usuarios, me sentí mal y tuve que trabajar fuera de Hive para pagar las cuentas, perdí mi consistencia por un tiempo, pero luego pude volver con una energía renovada.
Thanks to Hive
This 2021 I was able to quit a job I didn't like, to buy things I needed, like clothes and shoes, but my biggest achievement this year was finally installing the internet at home. It sounds like too little to be the biggest achievement, but it was very expensive, and living where I do, there are no options, the company I used was founded less than two years ago and is the only one that works here.
My friends @irenenavarroart and @pashinni made it happen too, they lend me the money I needed to make it sooner, and they did so with HBD so Hive has big participation in this goal.

Este 2021 pude dejar un trabajo que no me gustaba, comprar cosas que necesitaba, como ropa y zapatos, pero mi mayor logro de este año fue instalar por fin el internet en casa. Suena a poco para ser el mayor logro, pero era muy caro, y viviendo donde lo hago, no hay opciones, la compañía que usé fue fundada hace menos de dos años y es la única que funciona aquí.
Mis amigas @irenenavarroart y @pashinni también lo hicieron posible, me prestaron el dinero que necesitaba para hacerlo antes, y lo hicieron con HBD así que Hive tiene gran participación en esta meta.
I brought some friends here too, but just @pashinni has been active. The other friends are @arteyviajes, @itsmegalatea, and @jes.seth. I hope they become more active users in the future. I invite them to participate, because I know they are there watching and that's also a journey.
So this is is just a quick overview, I hope this to celebrate more years on Hive and share a lot of new experiences.

También traje a algunas amigas, pero sólo @pashinni ha estado activa. Las otras amigas son @arteyviajes, @itsmegalatea, y @jes.seth. Espero que se conviertan en usuarios más activos en el futuro. Las invito a participar también, porque sé que están allí observando y eso también es un camino.
Esto es sólo un resumen rápido, espero que esto para celebrar más años en Hive y compartir un montón de nuevas experiencias.

So, from the beginning, looks like you had fun being part of the blogging challenge up until it started becoming love inclined. You could have just found me and we could have made lovely experiences that you'll post about 🥺. But then I don't think I knew anything about Hive at that moment, quite sad. But I'm glad you didn't give up, you still ended up trying to discover where you fit in the most and you found Foodies Hive Community.
I love to eat a lot and I'm surely glad you're my friend, hehe. Maybe you'll teach me a thing or two about cooking, I can eat but can't do much cooking.
I guess everyone usually experiences moments like this and I must say it's the hardest part of being on Hive. Most times you spend hours making posts with a lot of enthusiasm and at the end of the day it gets no engagement or upvotes. It's really frustrating and it can make you give up.
I'm glad it didn't stop you, I'm glad you found your feet again and don't let the upvotes worry you. It's all about building relationships and improving yourself, with time everything just falls in place. Glad you got that internet connected with the help of your friends, like I said, relationships go a long way in impacting our lives.

That was bad timing we didn't met at the beginning of our journey here, but I think my own mindset then would have made me quit, so now it's a better moment.
You can see my posts about cooking and if you like a recipe, I'll give you all the tricks to do it the easiest way 😉
For a long time I didn't give people the value they have, I had this energy of "I don't need anybody, I'm good on my own" and yes, but to. I'm able to be on my own, but that's not better, now I see that. Now I just put me put there and that way I can get to know new people, like you haha.
I hope this new year we get to know more about each other and grow a lot here in Hive.

Yeah you're right though, it's great to meet now that you're a lot settled and your mindset is a lot more better.

I was always like that too, believing in my own abilities, doing things my own way but then I realized it got a lot harder for me. With the help of people we trust and our loved ones, we'll achieve a lot more than we can imagine.

Ha sido un gran año con sus altas y bajas pero en resumen han sido más las cosas buenas y positivas que ha traído Hive a tu vida y a la de todos nosotros, por cierto como no apoyarte y si eres muy trabajadora y responsable, solo era cuestión de tiempo para que encontraras lo que más te gusta postear 🥰 un abrazote y deseo que este año sea genial para ti y tu familia
Mi año ha sido nomás como medio año me parece jaja, no tengo tanto como tu para describir mi año en hive, mas que nada me acuerdo cómo me entretenía leyendo tus blogging challenges, y no se me olvida el primer post que me mostraste, el que según tu "no me ibas a enseñar" jajaj
Jajajajaja el post del día de la amistad. Sigues siendo la amistad más larga que tengo, porque si hay gente que conozco hace más pero no hemos sido amigos todo el tiempo, contigo hablo diario jajaja por ya 5 años, que rápido. Y me decías que en dos años ya ni íbamos a acordarnos jajaja
