Telegram New Business Accounts, Xiaomi Exploring the EV Industry and more

The way our world is running right now, tech is having to run as well to solve our problems and keep us productive. The funny part is we got so immersed on our devices that now the innovations are fighting over attaching us to them even more (virtual reality) or help us get away from them while still being able to do those digital task that are now imperative, you will see more about it in this article.

Streamlining as many tasks as possible is the key right now, improving automation, and, ironically, give a better customer service having less human involvement in those interactions. And that is not a bad thing, given the fact that the demand of digital services is now so high there is no way to take care of all the first contacts one on one. Let's see what Wednesday has for us on this front:

Don't let anyone typecast you in a role, look at Xiaomi! Known for its quality and affordable mobile phones, has expanded into the electric vehicle (EV) market with the launch of the Xiaomi SU7. The SU7 received an overwhelming response with 88,800 orders in one day. There was a pre-sale where the money was locked, allowing the option for refund if the buyer was not sure.. The car boasts impressive features, including a top speed of 265 km/h, acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.78 seconds, and a range of up to 810 kilometers. This really highlights the growing interest in environmentally friendly vehicles with advanced technology and performance capabilities. I would like to see how fast it breaks though, breaks speeds are for me more impressive than acceleration speeds for a vehicle that will be on regular roads.

With Xiaomi looking beyond the phone industry, we can see that maybe other devices are making their entrance to the market.

Reduce the chances of getting distracted by social media while trying to complete a simple task on your device. The Rabbit r1 is a handheld device that performs various tasks like ordering food or booking rides, aimed at reducing phone usage. It differentiates from typical virtual assistants by interacting with apps and websites more intuitively, thanks to a partnership with ElevenLabs for AI-powered voice commands. Rabbit r1 is designed to navigate apps and features as a human would, using a sophisticated action model. Its price is $200, similar to a low-end phone.

Telegram is stepping up its game to position itself as a Whatsapp competitor. The app, which already appeals to crypto enthusiasts with its built-in wallet, is now [introducing a business account](https://inleo.io/@fokusnow/new-feature-convert-your-telegram-account-to-a-business-account) option. This new feature allows small business owners to convert their Telegram accounts to showcase their products and services to a wider audience, potentially increasing their customer base and sales. This option will allow you to show products, working hours, to implement preset replies and more. Telegram already gave you a lot of control over communications, this is a step further to adapt to the demands of the customers.

It’s interesting how the corporate world is shifting towards leaders with engineering backgrounds, moving away from the traditional emphasis on MBA credentials. Companies like Amazon, Apple, and Microsoft are now often led by those who have a deep understanding of engineering, highlighting a significant change in what qualities are valued at the top. Leaders like Jeff Bezos, Sundar Pichai, and Lisa Su exemplify how engineering expertise can lead to high levels of success in the corporate world, suggesting that the problem-solving and innovative mindset of engineers is increasingly seen as invaluable, especially in a world that is so rapidly evolving.

It is not all computers. Despite the high-tech image of Amazon's "Just Walk Out" technology, it [relies heavily on human intervention](https://inleo.io/@thetimetravelerz/what-makes-amazons-just-walk-out-tech-work) rather than being fully automated through AI. Launched in 2018, this technology allows customers to shop and leave stores without the traditional checkout process, intending to streamline shopping and eliminate waiting times. However, the implementation of this system involves collecting data via sensors and cameras within the store, which is then analyzed by human teams in India. This combines technology with human judgment to manage billing and customer transactions, demonstrating that not all innovative solutions are solely dependent on AI.

An on our crypto world, this week we are seeing the markets a little stagnated, a lot of red candles.

The crypto market is influenced by factors such as the introduction of Bitcoin ETFs, attracting stock market investors. However, a significant altcoin rally has not yet occurred, causing concern among investors. Efforts to keep Ethereum below $4,000 and economic indicators like rising Brent Oil prices and a strengthening US dollar contribute to market fears. Additionally, FUD surrounding Kucoin exacerbates market turbulence. The dominance of the stablecoins has increased,, indicating a shift towards safer investments.

The competition on the different markets is crazy, but we have to keep in mind the recent history and how they tend to go up and forward.

How impressive the updates that are presented today, from the company Xiaomi innovating in a new area with cars, to a portable device that will practically do your daily tasks for you, allowing you to better organise your time and perform activities that do require your full presence and 100% attention.

Not to mention the new features of Telegram that now seeks to expand the user's reach as a business account, allowing to generate more traffic of potential customers for the brands or companies that these users represent.

I really enjoyed reading this post, I was able to catch up with some news, gain knowledge about the current situation of technology.

Thanks for sharing, greetings!
