Going the Distance: Weekly Battle Mage Secrets!
Hello Splinters Family, Welcome back
Another week Another Battle Mage Secrets challenge, Every week we have the challenge to share battle specific rulesets. We will explain the strategy we use for that ruleset. To join this weekly challenge just follow Splinterlands.
Only units with ranged attacks may be used.
Consider including units with the Close Range and Return Fire abilities in your lineup.
In this ruleset, Only a ranged attacker can use it on the battlefield. The problem with this ruleset is which monster we can place in the first position because we know that the ranged attacker monsters can not attack in the first position. For this ruleset, the monster you can place in the first position with a high life, high speed, or the monster with close-range ability.
Close range ability is an ability that a ranged attacker can attack in the first position.
MONSTERS WITH CLOSE RANGE ABILITY
- All these monsters have close range abilities in level 1 except for the Axemaster (Second to the last) activated in level 4 and Fernheart (Last Monster) a summoner that gives close range abilities to all monsters.
DEFENSIVE ABILITY FOR CLOSE RANGE RULESET
Fly - Evade attack came from ranged monsters.
Return Fire - Every time attacker hit the return fire ability monster it reduces the return back to the attacker.
-1 Range - Ability came from summoner to reduce the attack of all ranged attackers.
Headwinds - Reduce the attack of all ranged attackers.
