New Ruleset: FabFour and Fivealive
Hello Splinters Family
My article today is about the new ruleset added alongside the changes in ranked gameplay. It's called FabFour and FiveAlive, where there's a limit on the units you can deploy. FabFour allows only up to four units in battle, while FiveAlive allows up to five units. This new ruleset adds another challenge for all of us because you're limited to a certain number of units.
In the last tournament I joined, I encountered the FabFour and FiveAlive rulesets several times. There were instances when the ruleset I got lined up consecutively in the tournament, which added to the challenge to me. Another challenging aspect of this ruleset is when you have large mana, sometimes you want to maximize it but you can't because you're have limited unit you can use.

This is one of my matches in the tournament where one of the rulesets is FiveAlive. In this battle, the conditions were set at 13 mana, and the elements allowed were fire and earth, with the ruleset going the distance, silenced summoners, and FiveAlive. Because of this, I decided to use Talia Firestorm as my summoner because she fits perfectly with the silenced summoner ruleset, and the monster I used in the battle was Tinderlock due to the going distance ruleset. In this match, I emerged victorious even though we both used Tinderlock as our monster. Because of the advantage in the level of my Tinderlock, it had higher health and speed, which led to my victory in the battle.

In this match of the tournament, the ruleset was FabFour. In this battle, the conditions were set with a 41 mana cap, and the allowed elements were earth, life, death, and dragon. The ruleset included FabFour, Born Again, Fire, and Regret. In this battle, because only four monsters could be placed on the battlefield and the mana was substantial, and since one of the rulesets was Born Again, I decided to use monsters with martyr ability. This way, the monster could be revived twice, and the adjacent monsters would also have their stats increased by +1 all stats twice. I won this battle with the help of Chaos Dragon. His scattershot ability, combined with his blast ability, was a significant help in bypassing the frontline monster and targeting the opponent's healer.

Here's my battle again in the tournament with the FiveAlive ruleset. In this match, the battle conditions were set with a 33 mana cap, and the allowed elements were fire, water, earth, death, and dragon. The ruleset included FiveAlive, Unprotected, and Holy Protection. In this battle, I thought I would lose because one of the rulesets was Unprotected, and I had no protection against Yodin's blast. But I was lucky because I still won. My setup with Daarg Deadblast and Kulu Mastermind was excellent. Kulu Mastermind's shield ability helped reduce the damage from Yodin's blast, and Daarg Deadblast's triage also helped heal Kulu Mastermind.
