This is Ninja, she is 2 years and 8 months old, she is a Pincher mongrel, her story is very particular because when she was born, she had a father who put her in a yard and she lived with a rooster and a hen that always pecked her and she got annoyed and bit them, My husband and I spent days and nights writing many times to all the shelter foundations to adopt a puppy, we always loved a puppy, male or female, but they never gave us an answer.

Until one day a lady said to us: "Are you santeros? - We answered yes - she told us, Stop going to adoption days, because they will not give you any dog because they think they are going to sacrifice it for their religion, we realized that it was true because they always told us stories to avoid giving us any dog.

We talked to a lady from a foundation and we presented her our discomfort about this, because nobody can judge you without knowing you, without knowing who you are, without knowing if you really love dogs. If you really love a puppy you don't need to show it to someone, you just give them love and that's it.

Well we were in that for almost 6 months, until one day we traveled to Ortiz, a small town that is in the state of Guarico here in Venezuela, we went to visit and we found that little dog, tremendous, named Ninja Anastasia, the reason for its name is super funny, they named it Ninja because of a Latin American series that was on Fox channel called Cumbia Ninja, Our saint brother liked that series and that's why he named her "Ninja" and Anastasia after Cristian Grey (50 shades of Grey), because she was very masochistic, even if the rooster and the hen bit her she kept after them, we found her all chubby because of the parasites she had in her stomach, with her pale fur and all bitten by the rooster and the hen in their fights.

He went with us to Valencia, we brought the dog by bus, when we were on the way our daughter got off my husband's legs to eat an empanada to a boy who was sitting on the top of the bus, hahahahahahahaha she wanted to eat her empanada; When we arrived to Valencia it was hours of travel, when we got to our house, Ninja was afraid because everything was new to her, she started to pee everywhere, when we were going to give her some affection she bit us very hard, she became aggressive because her signs of affection were the bites of the rooster and hen. We fell in love with this tender and small furry 4-legged thing, we taught her who her parents were and that this was her home; our brother left Valencia and left us the dog, although it was supposed that between the 3 of us we shared the paternity of her.

When he left her to us we felt a great satisfaction, because we had finally got a puppy, that we never thought that she was going to become our daughter, we let her sleep in our bed, she had a collar before her arrival, prepared dog food, in my experience it was the first time I had a puppy, it was hard to get used to the fact that when I arrived there was going to be waiting for me a cute ball of fur that when she saw me she smiled a lot.

I started to get used to it and I taught her that she was going to eat when I woke up, that she should not bother me when I slept, that if I went to sleep she had to sleep too, she started to sleep in the bed with us, she accepted the affection as love affection, she showed her affection giving us hugs, she turned the phone to us so that we would pay attention to her, which she still does. Many times she ended up with things around the house because we had to leave for work and she was alone, as an act of rebellion she would bite everything around her, when we entered the house we saw her messes, at first we scolded her but we realized that this was something she would always do, because in fact she still does it. Every night when my husband comes home from work she is the one who runs out to greet him, hugs him and starts licking everything, then she goes to our room and wakes me up to let me know he has arrived.
Every moment was recorded in photos, thoughts and memories of how tremendous that beautiful girl was, because for me she is a daughter, who listens to me when I am upset, when I am sad, when she is mischievous, that girl is my everything, she is my engine and every day when she lies on my chest and falls asleep in my arms she makes me feel happy because she has filled my days with joy and painted my world with color, that black/fire; She is the one who when she wakes up is there barking for me to make her food, to open the doors so she can watch the people who pass by on the avenue and bark at the other dogs and cats, because she feels she is the owner of the avenue where we live.

Her father gave her several nicknames that strangely she listens to everything he tells her, Ninja is a spoiled dog that doesn't need anything, if she feels bad, she will do everything she wants

Her dad gave her several nicknames that strangely she listens to everything he says, Ninja is a spoiled dog that doesn't need anything, if she feels bad we take her to the doctor, we buy her medicines, also when we go out we bring her doggy treats, Nibbler is the light that illuminates our dark days, it makes us happy to see her sleep with us, accompany us wherever we go and besides that she takes care of us.

She is Ninja Anastasia, black/fire color.

Not all animals that are adopted end up in good hands, fortunately Ninja got a loving family (with the exception of Rooster and Hen).
