Inle lake - A great peaceful destination in Myanmar.
Being known as the second largest lake in Myanmar, Inle lake is too famous to miss out for visitors. I have been visited Inle Lake at noon when I went back from Nam Sang to Mandalay.
😎 Located in the Shan state, Inle lake is covered by 2 huge mountain ranges created such a pretty valley. Our team including 6 burmese man (5 of them are teenagers and 1 man) and 3 Vietnamese girls. The man that I often call “uncle”, he is a local living in Burmese from his childhood. Beginning in the end of Yone Gyi road, we came to the bridge with 9 people, we hired a boat from the local with the affordable price ( of course the uncle is in charged of doing these things). Fortunately, the weather that day was very good, not too much sunshines, and the wind was so cool for all of us.
What are there in Inle lake?
Inle lake is actually a large community of Intha, Shan, Taungyo ethic and so on, they live in the wooden house which is made very simple. In the past till now, Inle has been famous for handicrafts, fishing, pagodas, monasteries and the natural landscapes. If you are looking for some traditional stuffs, real silk weaves or clothings, burmese cigars, local wines in Myanmar, here is the right place for you.
Ethnic people grow the vegetables, flowers as the way for their self-sufficient living. It is easy to find them on the floating garden and floating boats, they also collect their products to sell the visitors as well.
In some houses on stilts, there are some stores opening all days, they sell the souvenirs, jewelry, local food and drinks for travellers. Do not worry if you think you will be staved till dead on Inle, the driver will help you to find the place to get and make you full.
I have been suggested one kind of dried noodle from uncle. How to say, it is same as the Oisy snack in my country except its taste.
From one woman on the boat, she gave me a warm smile, a bouquet of water-lily was being forward to me. I knew that she offered the flower for sale. I love water-lily, the puple color shines the dedicated and loving feeling for nature.
I also visited the pagoda and some jewelry stores as well. The peaceful and sacred moment in the pagodas were the unforgetable experience for me in all the journey.
😉 For one who intends to visit Inle lake, a lot of kind of accommodation and restaurant levels you can pick up to stay and explore the beauty of this place in 2 or 3 days. Of if you love to stay near by the local people in Inle lake, pick up and stay on the shores. The herritage and ancient cultures are enshrined carefully.
It is nothing more than my pleasure to travel around Asia and share what I have seen to you all. Thank for stopping by and reading my blog. Hope you guys will have more memories and beautiful experiences when coming to visit Inle lake.

Thank you a lot 😊 😌
Such a lovely lake em. It reminds me of somewhere in the South of Viet Nam. It's not totally same but similar :) You girls seemed to have a fantastic time and the locals were so friendly :)
Much appreciated my sister ^_^
Khi nào chị đi chơi Miến Điện chị nhớ ới em nha. Hihi. Em cũng muốn quay lại nó quá trời luôn. Còn 1 nơi ở Miến nó như Đà Lạt, dân trekking hay đi trek khúc đó dữ lắm, vì cảnh còn hoang sơ hùng vĩ như hiện trạng.
