Visiting the Highland coffee with sea view in Vung Tau beach, Viet Nam!

_DSC6741.JPG

For those who have visited to Viet Nam or lived in Ho Chi Minh city for a while, seems like familiar when hearing the name Highland coffee – a common coffee shop for youngsters and staffs. On the occasion of going to the beach, I have an opportunity to visit one of its branch here. It must be a wise choice for me to do it. I will explain more detail below the reason I did it.
The beach I visited that day is Vung Tau beach, located in the Southeast of Ho Chi Minh city. Most of youngsters take this place to unwind cause it is the easiest and closest beach to drop by in a day.

A black coffee helps us waking up in the early morning during a journey

After 3 hours moving by motorbike, I and my friends arrived to Back beach (bai sau) at noon, it is still too early to check in, we decided to go to Front beach (bai truoc) to take a nap until 2 p.m. Vung Tau is not my favourite destination to stop by, therefore, I know nothing here including what is there in Front and Bach beach and where they are. All I know is following the guiding from my friend.

The road is in Front beach.

The road on Front Beach is known as the most beautiful one in VietNam. Therefore, on the other side of the road, a thousand of luxury café shops, bars, restaurants and other services growing up like mushroom, include Highland coffee. We agreed together to visit this café cause Highland is a famous and big system, so the price of drinks will not change, compared to other café shops in one area. Furthermore, the Highland coffee here has 4 floors, wow, it makes me feel comfortable a lot when choosing the seat even I am not worrying about the individual needs.
With 4 floors, it is also has 3 space depending on the requirement of guests.

The first floor where there are 2 bars for ordering and taking the drinks from the waiters. There are also 2 space in the first floor for guest, inside and outside. I noticed that the average age of 30 to 40 love to seat here, and so do I and my friend. The average time to have a cup of coffee is not so long, I just need to wait 5 minutes to have it in my hand.

The second and third floor is often picked up by young generations, a group of family or friends and a couple. If you are a fan of sea view, it is a perfect choice to enjoy a cup of coffee and look at the landscape. For the smokers, in 2nd and 3rd floor also have the table outside, however, take care of your skin if your fear is sunshine. By the way, there are 2 restrooms in the 2nd and 4th floor, just in case there are too many people need to use it in the same time lol.

Talk a bit more about the price, I just need to spend almost 2$ for a cup of coffee or tea in size M, free wifi, free mineral water and yeahhh, they also buy a lot of cake, bread that I do not need to go anywhere else to finish my lunch or dinner. Lol.
There is only one drawback that I am at a loss here, it is the noise and overcrowded situation.

This coffee shop is just only suitable for one who need a place to refresh oneself with drinks. It is never available for one who love stillness and peace if they visit in the weekend. By the way, I am totally enjoy my time here though I hate the noise and people around cause I know myself is an old-fashioned person, to have this travel like this is the strange thing to me.

Well, that is all my experiences in the Highland coffee system at Vung Tau beach. If you want to change environment or get a fresh air with a reasonable & good taste of coffee, here is one you can try.

Thank you all for visiting my blog today. ^_^

Looks like a nice place. I would choose the floor without the smokers.
The coffee looks interesting. What are the white things floating in it?

The white things is milk cream. It is a combination of coffee made from the filter and milk cream. I Think they put a little salt into the milk cream 😂. After all, they sprinkle a bit cocoa powder in the surface.

That's a lovely-looking shop and the views from the 2nd floor are stunning. I'm curious as to what the white goey floaters are, and I'm wondering if they are a necessity for that particular drink?

yeah @millycf1976 . As I know this is a new drink on the menu, it is called Phindi milk cream. With phindi is the coffee made from the filter, then they put a foam of milk cream on the surface. I bet they add a little salt haha cause it is quite salty.
