There are two things that are sure to happen especially when trading, which is either the traders make a profit or lose money but there are more reason why traders lose money in intraday trading but before that, let me quickly explain what intraday trading is all about.

What is Intraday Trading?

Intraday trading also means Day trading and this can be referred to as a process whereby price keep swinging throughout the day and intraday traders manage to get some profits from the price fluctuating by buying and selling stocks on the same day.

Intraday Trading might help one to make a great profit, but one should have it in mind how highly risky this strategy is. As most traders manage to get the advantage of market price swing, it is said that higher percentage of intraday traders lose money in the process as they couldn't acknowledge the market price swinging and they eventually end up in making wrong decisions.

Here are some of the issues that caused the traders to lose money during intraday trading that have to be corrected:

The first thing that makes Intraday traders lose money during intraday trading is because of lack of discipline. Being disciplined as a trader is very important because appropriate discipline will help one to lessens the losses and maintain ones assets.

Another thing that makes an intraday traders to lose money is caused due to improper trading limits. Since intraday trading is highly risky and maintaining the risk factor is where the opportunity lies. Traders must know when to stop trading if things are not favourably as this will prevent the lose of capital. But most people don't realize this as they will want to recover their loss instead of stop loss and eventually they fail by loosing all their money.

Recouping of swiftly loss is another thing that caused a major loss to the traders during intraday trading. Traders must have it in mind that losing is part of trading. So to prevent great losses, it is better to avoid excessive trading and accept the loss instead of keep trading to recover the losses.

Lack of practical experience also cost the traders to lose money during intraday trading as they heavily rely on some tips to about when trading. Having a Technical analysis is one of the key to prevent traders from losing as they will be able to read the chart and make an evaluation before making any rash decisions.

As an intraday traders, one have to the basic skills and the confidence to deal with the risk of intraday trading as it's required making a wise decision to be an intraday traders and be self disciplined.
