Hi Everyone,

It's good to be here again and I hope you're all doing well and having a great day in your various places. It's with great pleasure that am welcoming everyone to my blog and I will like to share with you the new update regarding my maize plants.

It's been a while since I last make a blog about my maize plants because I have been busy taking care of my broilersbird, though I confess that I have been having a great setback regarding my maize plants such as lack of rain downpour which limit their growth, attacked by armyworm that I need to prevent it by spraying neem water on the affected plants.

After that, I noticed an improvement in their growth before another tragedy befall my maize plants which left me devastated as one of my landlord's pig break from it's cage and destroy majorly part of the maize which left me to lose interest in the maize plants that I planted at the backyard though I still have some maize plants left at the front side but they are not yet matured.

I was actually attending to my birds yesterday before some of the remaining maize plants caught my attention as I noticed how big they turned out to be as some of them are ready for harvest.

Though my wife have been craving for roasted corn for a while and our baby boy also love it and that's what leads me to try my first maize plants harvest for the year and turned out to be a great one even despite all the setback.

Me and my wife set up fire by burning some charcoal which was used to roost the corn 🌽 and we did enjoy it. Like I said earlier that there are still some maize plants left and I will keep you posted about it.

Thanks for visiting my blog and have a wonderful day

They are really big. Mine didn't do well. I plan replanting very soon. Enjoy your harvest.

I read you sprayed neem water on the maize, did it stop the worms from attacking them?
I experienced same on my garden, I sprayed pesticide but it didn't stop it

Though, it is already late before I sprayed the neem water on the maize plants but still yet it actually works on those that have not been really affected by the armyworm. The water best work for preventing worms from maize plants when discovered it at early stage and apply it on the plants. Something like this happened to maize plants last year and I instantly get rid of the worms using neem water because it is very effective when used at the right time.

Oh, really? Thank you.
How do I prepare the neem water?

Get as much as possible amount of Neem leaves, that depends on how large your farm is and squeeze the neem leaves with the amount of water you think will be enough to cover your maize plants and spray it on them.
