FEEDING

Feeding in poultryfarm business is very critical and it's one thing you must pay close attention to achieve good results in poultryfarm business. When talking about feeding in poultryfarm business, then time and the quality of feed is great factor.

• Broiler chicken should be provided with top quality broiler starter feed starting from a day old to the fourth weeks of their lives as most starter feeds especially the top quality ones contains medication to prevent disease outbreak. After four weeks of their lives, you may switch to broiler developer or finisher feed but that is if you're not selling anytime soon. As for me, I always make sure to feed my broilersbird with broiler starter feed throughout since I'm selling them off immediately they reach 6weeks old because feeding them with broiler starter feed help to facilitate quick growth and achieve maximum weight gain in a short period of time.

AVOID OVERFEEDING

• While proper feeding or feeding efficient is very crucial in poultryfarm business to be productive and profitability. One thing you must avoid is overfeeding as it may cause a great havoc to the birds. Broilersbird are for meat production and when they are feed properly, the feed quickly convert to meat but overfeeding broilersbird because of fast growth and quick harvest may leads to the birds getting heart attack and dies since feed is quickly convert to meat in broilersbird, so overfeeding can cause great harm to the bird's health. Though feeding efficient in broilersbird is very important like I said earlier but overfeeding is very harmful to their health and if you have been practicing this before, then this is the right time to correct your mistake by at least slowing down their growth by withdrawing their feeders overnight if not you might be removing dead birds from your pen coop gradually.

PROVIDE YOUR BIRDS WITH ONLY QUALITY FEEDS

AVOID UNDERFEEDING
