Wow, what a hair-raising cat tale! I've been around all sorts of cats all my life, and I can say that regardless of how it may seem, they can usually take care of themselves. They're wiley critters! The low temperatures add in another element to be sure, but even after 9 days he came down safe, which is wonderful! I'm happy that he's now safe. Happy New Year! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

Yes, they usually can but he seems a bit special. He licks concrete after all.. And dirt. We wondered why he did that and one day it hit me, maybe cuz he can't see clearly... Maybe he's using his other senses🤷🥰 I'm no cat expert but I do love them and that lil fellow about broke my heart and nerves up in that tree🤦 I'm so thankful he's down safe. He's always been mild mannered but after this event he is even more "meek" .. We have another cat Payne. Payne doesn't like other cats.. He's scared of them. He was another traumatized kitten we'd taken in but he slapped the little No Named Prince like 5 times. He just laid there. Didn't react. Of course this was the day after the ordeal so he might have still been exhausted. Unsure. He's not hurt tho... He gets up to eat and whatnot but he just wants to lounge now...

Thank you for commenting🤗🥰 happy New year to you also! 🎉

Sometimes critters have traumas that it takes time to work out of their systems. Usually they just shake it off, but some things stick a bit more deeply. I'm happy that your kitties are well loved!

Certainly, and thank you so much! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
