What is the faith of the thief on the cross? (Part 7 of 7)

Good works can even be a way of salvation for some people who don't have faith. There are people who would be accepted by God due to their good works. Romans 2:13 says it's not the hearers of the law that are just before God but, the doers of the law shall be justified. This is to say that those who didn't hear the law like some Gentiles but, did good works by nature are justified.

1Timothy 4:10 points out that God is the saviour of all men, especially, those that believe. This implies there are those who didn't believe. Hearing the law without putting it into practice can't bring salvation.

Mt. 25:36 shows that Jesus welcome those that did good works of kindness into the Kingdom. In Mt. 25:37 these doers were referred to as righteous even though they'd not heard or seen the Lord Jesus Christ. But those hearers that didn't want to do good works were rejected, and sent to everlasting fire in verse 41 of the same Mt. 25. Therefore, faith alone is not sufficient for salvation.
