Sin of the Fallen Angel (Poem)
As she lay beneath
his clipped wings
cradled by his charms.
His words created a depth in her his kisses wouldn't reach
even if he were to stretch;
To touch his lips,
To the cleft of her soul.
He sang lullabies of temptations;
Yet was naively applauded
by her little sinful hands.
With stares from God,
burning deep into her,
Yet scorching in her an eternal flame.
She never knew him;
To be jealous,
this old lover;
Yet this craving in her
Called SIN.
This whatsoever she would have given him;
But this dish,
She knows he despised her.
She wished he would understand;
Clasping her palms,
She prayed he would.
Whispering;
She never meant to break his heart into unholy fragments,
And she was far gone in hell;
to be redeemed
A bride charmed by a fallen angel;
She then walked into that dark; endless tunnel in her heart.
